(Potential) New head Cannon
I've had these goggles in my accessories collection for a long time, and I recently got some red and black lenses for it so obviously I put the red lenses in So they would look like Raz's goggles. However, unlike Raz's goggles, I could still see my eyes with only the red lenses. This changed when I added the black lenses. But the red and black lenses made it so I could not see at all out of them.
So, my new head Cannon is that Raz's goggles have black and red lenses in them so he could block out most if not all visible light, making it easier for him to astral project into someone's mind.
As far as I can tell, he only ever has the goggles on when he's entering or in someone's mind, and I'm assuming that when he does an astral projection, he limits his vision so that way he can see using his mind while inside someone else's.
I would love to hear your thoughts on this, and if this has already been discussed, please let me know!

I actually really like this idea but I’d like to take it a step further and say that’s also one of the reasons Sasha wears his sunglasses it’s a typical thing for young psychics or just people new to their powers he wear them as a demonstration for those people

That makes so much sense! The less skilled psychics would need to train their brains to limit receiving visual information from the eyes when astral projecting!
The only problem with this edition I can see (heh) is that none of the other campers have a form of eye protection. But that could mean either that they're more adept at their powers than Raz, or the camp does have special glasses that the kids wear that just weren't used the day that Raz came to the camp.
Either way, I love that addition!

Ooh yeah! That's a really good theory! He's still not "seeing" per se when he's in the mind, so the goggles serve as a visual representation that he is astral projecting, and in the real world is blocking out light. Could be part of what makes him such a strong psychic!
