Andamiro announced that it will unveil "Pump It Up Phoenix 2," the latest title in its arcade rhythm game series "Pump It Up," for the first time at "PlayX4 2026." Along with this, the company will showcase the Asia-Pacific Tournament, content linked to the Steam version of "Pump It Up Rise," and a dedicated controller. "Pump It Up Phoenix 2" is scheduled for release in June.
"Pump It Up Phoenix 2" is built upon the core gameplay of the original "Phoenix." It features enhanced new functions, including the addition of the latest popular K-POP songs, a Pumpbility rank system that displays user skill and performance, and an improved Rival System.
The Rival System increases competitive immersion and gameplay persistence by allowing players to check information about designated rivals through the 2P area during solo play. Furthermore, the focus was placed on providing an expanded gameplay experience while inheriting the fun of the arcade rhythm action games that users have become familiar with.
In addition, Pump It Up Phoenix 2 incorporates linkage features for users who own Pump It Up Rise, which is currently available on the Steam platform. Users who own Pump It Up Rise can play Rise-exclusive charts and related content within the arcade version of Pump It Up Phoenix 2.
Andamiro will host the 'Pump It Up Dominion: 2026 Asia-Pacific Tournament' on the main stage of PlayX4 2026. This tournament will feature representative players from seven Asian countries, including Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Singapore, and will be held on May 24 at 10:20 AM.
An exhibition related to PUMP IT UP RISE for Steam will also be prepared. Pump It Up Rise is a PC title officially released in March, and through its connection with Pump It Up Phoenix 2, it conveys the potential for expanding the 'Pump It Up' platform. In addition, the dedicated controller for Pump It Up Rise, currently under development, will also be on display at the Andamiro booth. An Andamiro official stated, "Pump It Up Phoenix 2 is a new title prepared to provide an expanded content experience and an exciting gameplay environment for both existing arcade fans and new users."

I live in Brazil, where itâs already rare to find active Pump players, let alone a freestyler. This guy could play songs without even looking at the screen, and on top of that, he would improvise choreography for songs he didnât know.
Itâs a shame I couldnât get a better shot of him, but he was really good.
Iâve always thought the culture was amazing. Once, when I went to SĂŁo Paulo, I had the opportunity to meet a professional freestyler, and it was the first time Iâd ever seen someone play like that.

While I've only been playing pump for a month, there are songs that I really like and set some as milestones until I plateau. EMOMOMO S16 was one of those and I just barely passed it. Felt like sharing as a first post here, cheers!

"The bar" im using a homemade version with a chair but its somewhat the same height as the arcade (from memory at least)
I'm getting pretty tired of 3 songs or so, could it be because of my height or my technique with using the bar?
I'm 167cm so sometimes reaching the upper arrows can be a bit of a struggle

Been playing Phoenix 2 where accuracy matters. I find myself streaming the S17âs fine except that the greats just appear in the middle of my runs even when Iâm âfeeling goodâ :/
Is this the time to play HJ? How do I know if Iâm early or late (does it show in a recording replay?) any tips in general for getting my 20 great UGâs to slightly fewer?
Thanks in advance for your help đ

Whenever practicing charts at home, I watch clean recordings of the gameplay recorded in a local machine. How does one do this? What settings can I tinker on the website to record my previous plays?
On another note, how can one use the camera present on the cab itself to take a picture? Thank you!

I don't have a pc, and I know LTEK mats are compatible with Mac and also made out of metal, but I feel like they're too expensive for what they offer, and don't even come with a handlebar (and if I got it from them it it's gonna be even more expensive), also heard i'd have to mod them. Or could anyone tell me how long a good wood mat lasts? I'm not entirely against the idea of one but I'd like it to last as long as possible as well. I'd appreciate recommendations a lot, thanks.

When Phoenix 2 released, most people spent their first session listening to the new songs, playing the new charts, and exploring the new features. Tomatonium had a different idea on how he wanted to spend his first session; clear every D25. I interviewed Tomatonium to gain more insight on how he approached not just this challenge, but his journey to improving as a player. Check it out on my YouTube!

If no one is on the machine I usually play 2 hour sessions. Starting with one s9 to warm up and only s10 and s11s after that. I noticed that during sessions, my shoulders feel tired, but at a manageable level of discomfort after an hour or so. After 2 hours I canât go on. How long should I rest for? And should I focus on working out my upper body to build muscle? Thanks in advance.

Finally got my L-Tek pad yesterday, and since I have no har atm I am learning to play with the heel-toe method so I can still somewhat play at home until then
I watched this and that tutorials and im slowly getting the hang of it!
I can comfortable do 120-140 bpm S4 and 120BPM S6 EDIT: Highest I've done is Euphorianic S7 with an AA+
just wanted to know if there were any specific maps that people would consider good for getting more used to it? some maps i play are just repeated notes at a bit too comfortable pace

Hitting the wall with passing some 18-19s as my feet (size 7.5-8) is not able to hold 3 notes occurring at same time which drops my life bar. Now I realize higher levels are for larger feet onlyâŠ
