🧡 Let's Chat 💬 Path to Nowhere

Soo, I have been receiving A LOT of posts from Path to Nowhere nowadays, and of course, as a Lesbian Timekeeper, I was OBSESSED with those designs and I was like, should I try the game out? I have NEVER seen anyone on YouTube talk about it and I really really want to know more about the game 😭

Its like lesbian arknights i hear so if its up you alley it would probably be good for you

I love both, but my friend who bounced off of Arknights gameplay really clicked with PtN's more "tower offense" style

As a straight woman even I like looking at the designs. If looking at pretty girls is your hobby then this is the game for you, 100%. But personally I hate tower defense game, so this is a game that I have on and off relationship with. Not something to play for having fun, mostly just washing my eyes from the eyesore other games be spouting. I don't have the whole scoop of the story but from what I heard it's pretty decent? I'd say you should give it a try, even if you don't like the game at least you get to see pretty girls lol

Okay so I often recommend the game, so I'll just copy and paste one of my previous comments. If you have specific questions, don't hesitate to ask! I'm enough of a nerd to answer it all I think💅 It's a beautiful game, and I believe anyone can like it if they're willing to give it a try

I'd just add that the global server is a bit behind the CN server (by about 2 or 3 months?), so we know about upcomming content in advance.

Anyways here's the comment I wrote a while ago :

Path to Nowhere is a tower defense, so it's not everyone's cup of tea😔 Personally I really like the gameplay and the story, so I'd say it's worth giving the game a shot

If you want to know a bit more : PtN is seen as different from most gachas due to the fact that it centers women and the main audience is sapphic women! (ofc everyone can enjoy the game) It does have fanservice, but it never makes the designs look bad, everyone's really classy in this game. Of course it's a gacha, but quite a generous one. Every new A rank is free during their event, new S ranks join the permanent banner after their update (so you can lose the 50/50 to them), but there's still limited characters, although you can get them pretty easily.

Story-wise its really, really good! It may be a bit hard to follow at first, but it should be fine. Event stories go from kinda forgettable to peak fiction. Although the game is mostly about really heavy topics, and it doesn't have trigger warnings.

Just in case you care about the gender ratio, it's pretty bad. But as I said, this is a game centered around their women, so it makes sense. Still, every man released after the launch were male because their gender mattered for the story. Which also means PtN's women tend to have positions or follow tropes modtly given to men

Anyways! Tl:dr i'd say it's worth giving the game a try if you like tower defenses, or if you want to see plenty more amazing designs!

great writeup, also good to mention PTN has a very "build up till explosive finale" kind of vibe with their finales. Like ch13 was phenomenal cause of all setup chapters before it, but for events, even without much setup, it still works sometimes. Like Honeyed Night is pretty iconic

if you like the stories of r1999, then path to nowhere is right up your alley. especially having complex characters who aren’t instantly buddies with the mc. there’s more morally gray women here that are playable than r1999’s (shalom, margaret, isomer, celine and more), with some straight up evil (cabernet, moore and shin).

This sounds so interesting 🫶🏻

I started recently! I was looking for more sapphic games.

So far, I really like it. I'm a big story player, so it makes me happy to see women with roles traditionally given to male characters and very important character arcs. The sexual tension is also crazy good LOL.

The combat is tower defence but I find it okay! Particularly cute to see the ladies' 3D models, hehe.

It's definitely a game made for lesbian women. Fanservice, but the designs are hot but tasteful. Zoya is my absolute fav but Langley and Ceto are high up there too...

Oh, and Ninety-Nine. There's a skin with her big muscles and 🤤🤤🤤

If you enjoy Reverse1999, amazingly designed & written women and don't hate tower defense, it's a great game.

Main story is consistently fantastic and there are a lot of great characters with charm and depth (Hella <3 Hecate <3 Shalom). Only downside is that event stories can be very paint-by-the-numbers but you won't notice that as a new player.

YESS TYY!!

I would recommend story for sure, gameplay kills me but I still play it. Fanbase on global is very chill & even CN fanbase doesn't have much drama outside of anniversary where u get usual suspects asking why game shows so much skin

u/Heath_cliff_ 7h ago

I never played it but the characters are so beautifull. Like wow she is hot

Zoya and stargazer <3

Other comments pretty much covered most of game so I’ll fill in more about the gameplay.

There’s no official client for PC so you’d have to either play on mobile devices or use an emulator.

It’s like a visual novel style with heavy tower defense battles.
The gameplay itself is pretty micro manage heavy in the endgame. You might get the overwhelmed by the amount of special effects going on.

The game is also one of the more generous gacha games out there if you’re not chasing meta.
There are like 4~5 different types of banners iirc, each with their own pity.
Most characters go into the standard banner pool after their rate up banner and you can select which characters you want to get from it.
Characters banners also rerun often with limited anniversary characters coming back often on the next half or full year anniversary.

As for content creators, I only watch edenkoregrace on YouTube for character review and gameplay guides or visit s1n.gg for written guides.
