Just finished my S5 rewatch and I miss it already. What a fun, crazy, fulfilling season. I'm not ready to give them up and start the beginning of the end of how safe the show becomes.

The tone was SO fresh coming into S5 from S4. Eileen and Rinna fit in so naturally and helped bring back that Beverly Hills/Hollywood feeling that always set this franchise apart from the other cities.

Brandi started the season really strong. She was making an effort to repair relationships, wasn’t drinking too much, and honestly could’ve had a full-on redemption season. She really should’ve stayed on that cleanse—or at least limited herself to one little glass of wine—because her drinking ultimately led to her downfall with the “playful” slap of LVP. Had that never happened, I think she very likely would’ve gotten another season.

Kim was a force to be reckoned with. She held these women’s feet to the FIRRRRRRREEEEEE. One thing Kim Richards has proven time and time again is that she is no Kyle and will not let you push her around. She will chew you up and spit you out. By the end, she was clearly exhausted by everyone constantly asking if she was on something or worrying about her, but Rinna ultimately proved just how new she was to the reality-TV game with those texts to Kim.

Lisa Rinna was just so much fun this season. I fell in love with her all over again. Her confessionals, her reactions in the moment, the way she inserted herself into situations—it was all fabulous. She’d been in Hollywood for decades, married to a successful B-list actor, but still came across as relatively normal and relatable.

And, of course, her fight with Kim in Amsterdam was ICONIC. What makes it even better is how little people talk about the fact that these two basically shoved the entire thing under the rug the next day. It was completely insane, but it’s exactly the kind of Housewives behavior I love. They had their explosive fight, temporarily moved on, went shopping together, confused the hell out of Eileen and Kyle, and then proceeded to have more spats.

Then came the revelation that Rinna had been texting Kim. Telling her to “watch her back,” saying she needed to be stopped, and doing it on two separate days completely out of the blue was INSANE. It was the prelude to the Housewife Lisa Rinna would eventually become.

And one tiny moment I’ll never forget: when Rinna was getting ready for Amsterdam, she pulled out a jacket and Delilah said something like, “OMG, I love that jacket, I need to steal it.” Rinna responded, “It’s from Target!” And Delilah immediately went, “Oh.” The way she instantly lost interest the second she found out it wasn’t designer or expensive was hilarious.

I don't think Andy laughed as hard at any RHOBH reunion than this one. Esp when Brandi made her Rinna hair comment he couldn't hold it in.

My girl Taylor had such strong feelings about him, I KNEW he wasn’t a good man. Yolanda just seemed to put on too much regarding her marriage, I don’t think anybody was fooled. It’s just incredibly sad she was blindsided, and I feel awful for her. She seemed to truly love him.

His red flags were clear to me since his weird dinner parties 😭.

I know Yolanda doesn’t return after this season and although she wasn’t my fav, she grew on me, and I will be sad to see her go. Was she fired or did she choose not to return??

I think Brandi is so unserious talking about LVP line she is a Batman villain, and the rest of them are like “Yes!”. Once Kyle said something about chess Brandi never let it go. The “set up” was basically because LVP is probably generally smarter than most of the women on the show and doesn’t feel bad about it. To me, it seems like some of the housewives give her a god status where they need to be accepted by her. However, Lisa doesn’t give out full approval to anyone, not even Ken! They know that’s not in her character and at one time they all decide they deserve her full approval and are done trying for it.
I think Lisa plays with her intelligence often, but because Brandi is not as smart she got scared of her. I doubt Lisa thinks or thought that these women were taking her jokes seriously, but when there is a difference in intellect, some jokes are missed. ALSO Brits are different when it comes to dry humor, they kind of invented it. Sometimes Lisa’s jokes are so dry it just comes across as bitchy in the US.

HOWEVER. She did tell Brandi to put the rag mags in her bag, I don’t know why she lied to Kyle about it. Maybe she felt guilt or knew that Mauricio would get upset about it. She lied too much about nonsense things and the others used it as leverage to attempt a takedown. Ultimately, unsuccessful, but Brandi gave it her all

wow i am so sick of kim at this point, hearing her blaming kyle about her dog biting is so sad. rip to that poor fur baby 😭 i can’t stand her during part 3 😵‍💫

I am watching RHOBH from the beginning for the first time (I have watched NJ and SLC).

Is there not something telling about Camille talking to Allison and Dee Dee about Mauricio and his eye for women, when her marriage with Kelsey is what it is (or was what it was I should say)?

I saw the Rachel Zoe tag first then say this cute ghost and the price was amazing! I named her Mitzy! The lace is super pretty and delicate.

For context, I absolutely loved the earlier seasons of RHOBH, my best friend and I used to come home from work and watch it on catch-up. However, we just finished Season 4 recently and have found ourselves not as invested in the show to continue watching it anymore.

Perhaps and unpopular opinion, however, I didn't like Joyce. I felt she was quite boring in some periods and honestly didn't bring a lot to the show in general, compared to say Adrienne who we did not see this season.

Ultimately, do you think it would be worth it to continue watching the show, or move to a different franchise? Honestly, we both tried our very best to enjoy this season, but it just didn't leave us with a feeling of wanting more.

First go through of RHOBH, watching Erika at the reunion is WILDD I have no idea what is true lmao but BOYY she reminds me so much of Carmella Soprano. Enabling her husband but still kept in the dark but doesn’t care because she’s getting money and living a luxurious life. Curious to see what other folks think

Doing my first rewatch after many many years as I always hated this season. And it’s very clear the Puppygate story line was pushed by Erika and Rinna, if you go back they are always the ones bringing it up, and bringing up to Teddy and Dorit that they are the ones that have been manipulated. 

Do I believe that LVP initially had a hand in getting the dog story thought up by Teddi on camera, yes I do, and seemed guilty as sin after it came up. What her major mistake was, continuing to be cruel to Dorit in the Bahamas. Dorit clearly wanted forgiveness but LVP wanted to make her pay for it, she thought she was invincible but she already had precarious relationships with Kyle and Dorit and Teddy quickly turned on her. What she didn’t know was that Rinna and Erika were plotting behind the scenes.  
After Denise’s wedding LVP looked like she was almost back in favour after she started buttering everyone up, and she figured Teddi didn’t matter. What she didn’t realise was that Rinna and Erika saw this all go down and weren’t finished so they reported the story. Again they were the ones to keep telling Dorit how betrayed she was, and how it only benefited LVP. Again LVP made the mistake of not going to the spin class, she let it all get spun on without her present. They convinced Kyle well that LVP was behind it, because that was her usual MO. They took her down because she never admitted to anything and always kept her hands clean. Rinna never forgave LVP for munchausen and bided her time, they also both likely received a hefty pay bump once LVP was gone and secured their spots on the show. With Lisa loosing all her allies and refusing to participate with the cast for the rest of the season her fate was sealed and ding dong the witch was dead, all thanks to Rinna and Erika.

Currently doing a rewatch of season 12 (i normally don’t get past Lucy Lucy apple juice season before I start again) and I was wondering who is more powerful in LA out of Diana & Kathy?
Both have wealth and celebrity friends and a questionable past , wish we saw them go head to head, would have been very interesting to see.
Who do you think has more sway in society?
Kathy is old school and Diana is new money…..

Rewatching a lot of the scenes where people say her questions are probing or insensitive is not really sitting with me. When I am truly trying to get someone, I tend to do the same thing. I can definitely say there’s a point where it feels pushed to dramatize it, but duh, they’re on a reality show.

Not trying to debate the leaked stories of it all - I am just saying that when she is inquisitive it does not feel disingenuous to me 🤷🏾‍♀️

I am rewatching this for the umpteenth time and I often take different perspectives because one, I’m human; and two, I’m a sociologist. So I tend to watch it from different viewpoints, but I welcome everyone’s opinion because also with more life - we understand things differently.

The Richards never looked happier in their drive together, this is the last time we see them look so in sync. Blonde, happy, and ready for chaos. The middle one has a mouth on her though.

Rewatching the earlier seasons I noticed she’s HOT! Like, wow. You can totally tell she’s a dancer! Also rest of the cast was like super skinny! I guess that’s a thing of the time and generation and you could tell. We’ve really grown so much as society

I’d either say Joyce or Amanda. Joyce added some flair into the cast and is gorgeousssss. Amanda is delusionally ridiculous and loved the way she riled up the cast this last season.

I’m still catching up through the current seasons. I’m done with 14 but I’m not watching through the after show before I get to rewatch season 15, and OMG I CANNOT STAND IT! I’m going to get hate but I CANNOT STAND THE BUTT KISSING!!! The Dorit and Boz suck up show is killing me during the after show and through the show period! IMO it seems like Dorit is being overly animated and dramatic to stay on the show tbh. Just saying yes to everyone single syllable that Boz says, and Boz kissing up and not seeing everyone’s pov is annoying. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD I CANNOT STAND AMANDA in season 15, but Boz is kind of doing the same thing in season 14. Not knowing the whole story of each housewife and casting judgements. I kind of can’t stand Boz a little bit. I like her being a badass and a great success story, and yes I feel bad about the whole baby thing but you’re almost 50 and it’s extremely hard to go through. Idk if it’s a fair characterization, but Boz was an absolute bully to Amanda! I can’t stand Amanda with all my might, but it was crazy to see Miss stand on ten toes lie and say, “I DIDN’T SAY THAT!” So many things to be said but I had to get it off my chest!

Looks like Rachel’s birthday party will be another episode this season. I wonder if Erika is being filmed during her DJ gigs. I’m assuming she is.

I’m not the biggest fan of Erika at all, based on what i’ve seen, but cmon now…..😂😂😂😂. I knew as soon as she opened up her mouth about LVP, Kathryn was going to run it back to the group and prove Erika’s point 🤦🏽‍♀️.

Sidenote: Nice catch with the husband. Donnie Edwards is fiioooneeeee 😭😭.

Rachel Zoe, Jennifer Tilly, Tracy Tutor, Leah Remini all being added in recent seasons. It’s starting to feel like the who’s who of Beverly Hills again not D list actresses and “accountability coaches” with unimpressive houses. There are some more dead weights that need to be let go but so far this season is looking incredibly promising and BH is moving in the right direction

Okay so I know it’s old and I did see it when it first aired but doing a re-watch I’m sorry but this is HILARIOUS!! She’s off her rocker 🤣🤣🤣🤣 “thank you.. you’re welcome” “is yours upside down” so many iconic moments. Now I’m not judging a housewife if she is partying on something but please say I’m not crazy and she was deffo on something? 😂 she states she doesn’t want any oil in her food and that she hadn’t drunk before she arrived
