Upgrade your oil pump while you’re
in there. Use the Melling 10452HV.

Dont know where you are located, there is a place in Georgetown Tx called Texas Speed and Performance which specializes in these kits. Give em a call...

Please use mopar lifters and presoak them in oil for 12 hours if they are not preloaded. I tried Amazon ones and had to redo the job again because they were defective. Do the cam, lifters, oil pump, and get brand name head gaskets. These parts are optional, but I also did a cam phaser, water pump and timing chain while apart, and all related gaskets. Get the valve cover, intake, water pump, timing cover gaskets, and check the manifold ones while you are there

Also, make sure you take care when reinstalling the rocker arms, as the spacers under them can bend if not installed correctly.

I originally bought a kit on Amazon, but that was a mistake. I ended up buying Mopar after, but If you get a kit just make sure it is name brand aftermarket parts and not noname stuff.

I guess my question is when you bought name brand the second time was it in a kit also like the stuff you bought on Amazon or you just went and ordered Mopar parts individually
