Everyone loves inhaling and then having to clean up burnt pizza dust… almost as much as eating microfibers from a sanding element.

I know I do!

How else would we get our cavities?

Also, what’s the top gonna look like now that its been squashed into the cutting board?

He's stoned asf. He don't give a fuck lmao

u/SteveAxis 1d ago
I mean, I usually am too but a butter knife over the garbage can works just fine
3
u/sulkingsister 1d ago
I, too, have used the butter knife method on an overly crisp pizza. I then folded it in half like a taco, and ate that crunchy monstrosity over the kitchen sink. Where there's a will, there's a way!

u/Full-Sound-6269 2d ago
That disc is probably not wearing down from grinding pizza? I doubt there is sanding material on this pizza. But I agree, 100% needed to use a vacuum cleaner.

Might get the odd grain of sand.

What's 1-15 grains. The natives chowed down on that shit in their bread too an they were fine /s

u/AshingiiAshuaa 2d ago
It's not a bad idea if you had a new sanding disk, but that burnt crust will never fully come out of the carpet.

I feel like a wire brush attachment on the grinder might work better to get that carbon off of the pizza, and also the bristles that shoot off would give you your RDA of steel. Honestly I don't think I get any steel in my diet...
2
u/TriedCaringLess 1d ago
Steel is essentially iron bonded to chromium and some other metals. We humans don’t have a recommended daily allowance of steel.

He just needs the leaf blower now and blow all that dust and microfibres away from the pizza.

Some people are way too confident with angle grinders

u/SizeableBrain 2d ago
Battery operated ones are pretty safe. Now the 9" corded ones on the other hand... they scare me.

Ferrous impregnated pizza is the best
2
u/AmericanComplaint 2d ago
I don’t know who the hell Ferrous is, but he should stay the fuck away from pizza.

You can tell this has happened multiple times before by the precision of burnt removal to ok crust.

Sometimes garage equipment blends nicely with the kitchen - blow touch on creme brulee etc but grinders belong in the garage ok ?

My mom using a knife to scrape burnt toast. I used to give her shit but as her daughter I too have burnt tf outta toasted baked goods. It’s genetic.

Like when your dog takes a shit in the house and you wipe it up yes it’s gone but you can still smell it and taste it and your soul.

Too bad, he should have used a dust respirator to protect his lungs and wore the safety glasses.

I'm not going to lie. I might try this with a 40 grit, heck if I can find 32 grit I would be more confident.

Using that thing one handed with no gloves is a choice. I had one buck on me while doing that and I lost a good amount of finger flesh.

u/andystechgarage 2d ago
Next, he needs a power tool to clean the asshes... Weird, I don't see any and no dust... Another sloppy AI?

I’ve never used a power sander to fix a pizza before, but only because I’ve never had one.

Th cutting disc on the grinder is harder than the carbon deposits on the pizza. None of that disc is getting on the pizza. This actually isn’t a bad idea at all. Now there is a really high chance that the disc broke up as it was removing the carbon deposits leaving behind gritty material. It all depends if he uses good cut off wheels or shitty ones. Something tells me he uses shitty ones though in the first place. LOL

You can do this with a butter knife and not fling dust all over the room.

1
u/Gigglenator 1d ago
I don’t remember seeing the grinder in the cooking instructions. Must be a new type of pizza.
1
u/Horror-Primary7739 1d ago
You burnt the.pizza because you were playing video games. You grabbed a tool you spent a lot of money on and never use. And you send carbon dust all over the apartment.
Your girl is not impressed in the least.

u/SarraSimFan 1d ago
Yes, one pizza, please. Cheese with 69 grit crust.
The 69 was a typo, I left it because funny number.

100% approve. This is absolutely a reasonable, practical use of an angle grinder.

It ain’t stupid if it works! But why you doin it inside tho? Even my high ass knows better than to create a bigger mess and more work for myself

u/crabbychicken1 1d ago
Now he gets to vacuum up all the charcoal dust on the carpet. An idiot born every day.
1
u/surrealcellardoor 1d ago
I’ve tried this. It still tastes burnt. As we well know from using smokers, the food will readily take on the smoke flavor of what’s being burned nearby to create that smoke. Imagine how well this works when the burning is taking place on the flip side of what you end up eating.
