Can anybody help me establish if this is fake or real?

The holo pattern looks off to me but that is just me.

Got this a while ago from a game store and cased it up but been wondering if theres any good way to tell if this is real, a repack, searched, etc. I dont see creeses or extra glue. I like to keep it seeled and its more of a memorabelia piece for me for now but still wanted to get an idea of thoughts around real/fake but then also searched/resealed

Surge foil Smaug being sold for 50$ under current market price so I want to make sure I'm not getting scammed lol.

T test seems to check out but you never know

Like the title says I bought this on eBay for one of my decks, seller has overwhelmingly positive reviews but there was a couple claiming the cards they received were fakes. Took a chance, just looking for y’all to confirm what I’m already 98.5% sure of.

Bought the Card at a gamestore a couple months ago and inspected the usual marks and looked/felt good whilst being there. Bought a precision scale yesterday- to weigh a funny feeling Plateau and also decided to weigh this Manavault, which came up at ~1.61 grams (I weighed it multiple times), which as far as I can know, is quite a bit to light for a magic Card.

Does anyone know, if this Card/set series is simply an outlier weight wise, or did I miss something?

EDIT: Thank you everyone for confirming my suspicions. At the time the card was purchased, I didn’t know anything about authenticating cards. Shame on me for thinking this LGS was doing their due diligence. I can’t say if they’re actively scamming or simply didn’t know the card was fake, but neither scenario is good. And I’ll definitely be doing MY due diligence from here on out.

I bought 3 of these booster boxes for €350 in total and i’ve no idea on how to know if it’s real can someone help

All 3 cards pass the Back test 4 red dots in the green Big dot and they all pass the T Test.

What makes me suspicous is that in Picture 2 the black linie is so much bigger like in all my other cards but the cards from picture 1 and 3 only have these dot lines. In my opinion only the Card in Picture 2 is real and the other two could be fake.

Ordered this online and I'm feeling skeptical. I paid a little less than market price, but not enough to throw a red flag as it was listed as MP. From a pretty reputable shop/seller with hundreds of thousands of sales.

I got this at a card show the other day and didn't properly check it. The picture below is the closest I could get to the T test. It does appear to be jagged like a real one if you zoom in close but I wanna double check. What do you think?

I just received this card and I have my suspicions it is real. The T and dot look okay but the front is this glossy foil where the character model doesn't look to have foil printed on it. I have other cards from FF in foil in the borderless style that I've pulled and the character model always has foiling printed on it. Wanted to share with this community and get thoughts before I put in a complaint. Appreciate all of your help!

First pic is the real one, second is the fake. The T is clear, but the rosette pattern is a dead give away, the offset generates a distinctive pattern. Cannot be replicated with laser (yet).

I bought this card on ebay. Card number indicates surge foil but this isnt surge foil looking. I'm getting back into magic and need reassurance that this isn't real. I don't have the tool to check for markings.

Looking to purchase this demonic tutor but I can’t see any versions online that have this black border with the text “Search your library”

Beta and alpha version should state “You may search your library” and revised versions should have a white border.

Is this a known fake style or some other small print run version? Would appreciate your help.

I ordered off of tcgplayer and it was the first more expensive card I've bought

As title says. I can confirm MTG from backs pretty well, but never really learned faces. I don't buy higher dollar cards often, but this Etali is the first I think I might want to confirm. No reason to suspect it's fake, but figured I'd ask and also ask for what if anything is the best test on a 2 faced card of this sort.

My main concern is the the outline of the triangles is not very "bold" Everything seems fine but I am not fully sure.

Recently bought this, it’s my first big buy. I was excited, thought I checked everything right, though I have a bad feeling in my stomach. I do have eBay protection.

Going to meet this guy later today and authenticate it in person with a loupe.

It seems legit because the guy had no issue with me verifying before handing him the cash and mentioned he had an ebay authenticity guarantee, which implies he at least thinks its real

I know Im looking for:

Red Dot L in Green

Rosette Color Printing and Solid black lines

Teeth on the Letters for T and H

"Light Test"

Any other advice?

Seller had to reschedule Meetup. Ideally for this weekend.

Seller refused to meet at a bank or a library. I explained concerns around them asking for price all in $20s and how there are reports of people snatching cash and running without giving the card.

The Seller kept trying to get me to meet them in an Open Park area with his buddy around. I explained discomfort around that and kept trying them to go to a public indoor space and they more or less kept saying to do it at a park.

My local LGS is great, I traded in a ton of cards for this etched Mox Opal. This is my first time doing this so please be gentle. I just ordered a jewlers loupe but tried taking some zoomed in iPhone pictures. Is it real? Or do I need to take better pictures?
