I am now Casting 8-10 Voice Actors for my Dark Story Podcast! Half of the cast are male and half of the cast are female. This is volunteer work (Unpaid) for the first featured show on my Youtube channel and Tiktok clips. (It should run for a minimum of 100 minutes). You will be fully credited in the Youtube descriptions of the episodes and can of course credit/link the episodes you feature in, in your portfolio/website. There will be no raw files/clips sent individually to you but you are welcome to clip up to 2 minutes per episode you feature in for your resume.

The main character is an adopted Indian 18-year old teenager. He has a Yorkshire accent. He is best friends with a girl who has a Yorkshire accent and a boy who has an MLE accent. Most of the cast have noticeable but understandable Yorkshire accents. The themes are dark, so please only audition if you are more than okay with voice acting scenes that feature TW: Sxicidal ideation (First scene), as well as straight up horror (Nothing too gory).

Your voice shouldn't be too over-the-top. You should read the lines as if you're auditioning for a TV show. The 'acting' should be believable.

You need to have some Voice Acting experience already, as well as a website you can direct me to before I send you the Discord invite link.

Phone recordings are welcome as long as you can provide a clean environment with no room echo (recording in a closet or under blankets is highly recommended!). But I will be picking the cleanest audio and the best 'acting voice'.

I will be considering the pool of voice actors that do this project for future paid work, so please give this your best shot if you are interested!

Hello! I am looking for 2 characters and 1 background character. He only says 1 line. These lines will be used for an animatic of the first 10 pages of my comic.

What I'm looking for:

Amphelis- Looking for her to have a deep/mid pitched feminine voice. I want her to sound mysterious, like there is obvious there is something off with her. A little bit expressive, slight exaggeration with her words and pronunciations of them. She tends to drag the endings of words just a bit. 

Jonagold- I want him to have a sleazy hispanic accent but it sounds alluring (comic accurate) 

Background guy- Some generic male voice, sounds young and scared. Thats the character who only says one line.

I was hoping for a female voice to read something, basically a "to whoever finds this journal" note for a Dungeons and Dragons campaign. I thought it would be fun to add a little flavor, and have a "strangers voice" whom no one in the group knows read it out loud so I could play it, rather than just hand them all a note to read in their heads.

It's not something I could really "credit" anyone with, save for the 5 guys I play D and D with... but if anyone thinks it might be a lark, or a bit of fun, please let me know.

I am shooting and producing a very intense horror film for a festival and I would love for someone to give their hand at this role!!!

It is a single scene! Here are details:

HORROR/THRILLER THEMES. Fair warning.

The opening scene of my film is a scene of my main character walking into her house alone at night. It is a nightmare sequence, and her house will be shrouded in fog and red lights, as well as candles. As she enters her home, she will hear the muffled and distorted sound of her father crying.

This is what I need.

I need a male actor that can convincingly portray the sound of an older male having a breakdown. The screams are full of agony and despair and will be off screen. There will be echo and distortion effects as well. This scene needs to be sad and depressing since we never actually see the father, so the implication is very important.

I have finally finished working on the third script and will be taking a little break before moving onto the fourth one.

The main reason this will be more of an audio book - but split into parts on YouTube - is because I just spent like 2 or so years (maybe longer) on a project i've lost full access too. So i'm now just done with that project. It took up too much time in my life and I want to start doing simpler stuff that I obviously still have to put lots of effort into, but not as much as I had to with that previous project.

I took it on when I was still pretty young, and it took so much time away from my life that I dont want to look back on it for a good few years.

So, now that my rant is over. Lets talk about this audio book.

This series is planned to be a FNAF audio book if the movies were more game accurate. I will expand further on this after I share the loglines I made for the first one:

Four years after it's closure, the desperate Michael Schmidt takes a night-shift job at Freddy Fazbears Pizza to support his younger sister, Mary. But when the animatronics start roaming the halls after dark, he finds himself trapped in an unexplainable nightmare. Unbeknownst to Michael, the souls of five innocent children linger within the animatronics, mistaking him for the man responsible for their deaths — plotting to make him suffer their fate.

The second one:

Two years after the Missing Children's Incident, struggling artist Jeremy Fitzgerald takes a work week-long security job at the new Freddy Fazbear's JR's to pay for his mother's life-saving surgery. But as the nights grow darker, the restaurant's animatronics begin hunting him for deceiving them. Meanwhile, another evil lurks in the shadows—one that threatens both the living and the dead.

And for the third one:

Thirty years after the Missing Children’s Incident, undead Michael Afton is recruited by his uncle Henry Emily to work as the night guard at Fazbear’s Fright, a horror attraction built to lure his father, William Afton, out of hiding. But when William returns in the form of the monstrous Springtrap, Michael finds himself trapped in a deadly game against his own father, while the restless spirits of the past – and a few mysterious creatures – either threaten to derail or help Henry’s plan to finally set the dead free and end Afton’s reign of terror.

I know thats not much information. So here's an expansion on what i said earlier.

This project plans to be an audio book version of the FNAF movies if they were to be more game accurate. However it still will have some original characters, a more original story, and a lot of fan references. Seriously, I packed far too many references into that script that it may be a little too self-aware. But i'm not getting rid of them because I like them.

And just to make it clear, female VAs/feminine sounding VAs can voice the kid characters. This doesn't have to be just male VAs

So, who are the characters? Well, here's the first scripts characters plus their general ages and genders!:

FNAF 1:

Gabriel Glenn: M Freddy kid spirit

Fritz Gerald: M Foxy kid spirit

Now here's the second scripts characters and their general ages + genders:

FNAF 2:

David Afton: M kid spirit

Kayden Hunter: M kid spirit

FNAF 3:

None for FNAF 3 anymore.

Just in case you can't tell, the majority of these characters have been taken. So these are all who are left.

I'll be honest. Their genders don't mean anything in this casting. I just figured showing them would be helpful for you. I don't want any deep voiced males or overly girly or (as some would put it) mommy voiced people to voice these kids.

You tell me who you want to voice, I'll either ask for any previous work or send you anywhere between 1 and 3 test lines for the character(s) and then i'll decide if you fit that part. If you dont, ill offer you a different part.

Oh and I won't be able to stress this enough, but if something comes up that will prevent you from VAing, please tell me you wont be able to. You dont need to tell me what, just tell me that somethings happened and that you wont be able to VA at the time. You will be able to VA in the future, trust me.
