I had a final round with an employer 8/28. I got an email same day from transunion stating that the employer added them as my employer to my credit profile on 8/27. 8/28 I had a final interview but as of today 9/1 I have no offer. Should I email the recruiter or leave it be? It is a large legit company with communication through their ats and verified company email. prior to my first of 3 interviews I was told I had to go through onfido to verify my identity which I did around 8/14.

I had an interview on August 20 with the co-founder of a company I had initially connected with through LinkedIn some time ago. The owner of the company had responded to my message, expressed that he loved my work, and eventually, that conversation led to an interview opportunity.

Both the owner and co-founder seemed impressed with my work. During the interview, the co-founder even described my portfolio as “dope.” Although the interview was scheduled for 30 minutes, it ended after about 18 minutes. She did most of the talking, while I took the opportunity to explain my work, my creative process, and how I approach projects. She also asked how much time will it take for the relocation and stuffs like that!

At the end of the interview, she mentioned that I would hear from HR, who had also been included in the email thread and originally scheduled the interview. She also mentioned that there would likely be another interview with the founder.

However, I haven’t heard from anyone since then. I followed up with HR via email, but I haven’t received a response yet. Given the situation, what should I expect at this point?

My Barclays KYC Analyst application currently shows “Preliminary Conversations” on Workday. A Barclays recruiter/HR representative also contacted me, asked about my current role and CTC, and afterwards told me that my profile is “under Manager review.”

For current/former Barclays employees or recruiters — what does this status usually mean, and does “Manager review” typically lead to an interview/next round?

Has anyone experienced their Barclays application moving to “Preliminary Conversations” after a recruiter/HR call? If so, what happened next, and approximately how long did it take to hear back?

I had 2 initial interviews and then a panel interview and another panel interview (last one last Thursday). I was informed if I made it to next round it would be in person. I haven’t heard anything since Thursday and yesterday pm I reached out to the recruiter to ask when I might hear about next steps. Do you think I am done for? This is a government job.

Follow-up Emails After An Interview?

Hi all,

I had two really promising interviews last week, both of whom said they would be interested in having me back for the final interview with the site manager.

The first one I interviewed with on Thursday and seems like a really good job with steady work and hours, but it's not in a field of work that I have a lot of experience with. The office manager asked when I would be available for a follow-up interview and I let them know that Tuesday or Wednesday of this week would be the best days. Everything seemed very positive and encouraging. I still haven't received a single phone call or email from them about setting up the second interview.

The second job was in a fairly niche field of work that I have a lot of experience with and I was especially excited about getting to interview with them. I met with the office manager in person and we discussed the details of the job, my work history, and the history of the company. They even showed me around and gave me a lot of information about the day-to-day goings on of the company. I researched all of the bullet points on their job listing and prepared answers for all of them. The interview went great and I was told I would be hearing back on Monday.

As a bit of added insurance, I re-checked the job listing over the weekend and noticed that there were a couple of bullet points that we did not discuss. I typed up a quick email thanking the office manager for taking the time to interview with me and added that I wanted to provide some additional information regarding the bullet points, concluding it with a "purpose" statement explaining why I thought my skills and experience would be a good match for the company.

Now it's late Tuesday afternoon and I haven't heard back from either.

I'm just stuck here wondering if that email seemed too over the top and if I disqualified myself from the role. They haven't updated the job posting site either way, but I can't help but wonder if screwed up and cost myself the job opportunity by sending in the additional email over the weekend.

What's worse is that now I can't decide whether or not I should follow up regarding the first interview since I don't know if following up after the interview accidentally disqualified me.

Has anyone experienced this with follow-up emails before? Everything I read on these job hunting sites encouraged a short, polite email after an interview but I can't help but second guess myself.

I had given an interview final round on 1st July and they were okay with 90 days notice period.

She called on 16th July to check if I can buy out and I said thib possibility.

Post that I am checking with her every week to which she says next week.

Should I still call her every week and ask?
