Fan Art Settle For Less / Five of Cups

I've been drawing some tarot-inspired stuff based on Another Light. Not going in any specific order, but I'd like to make one for each track on the album.

I've been doing a deep dive into tarot and oracle decks lately so ngl if there was ever a red vox themed tarot deck? Count me IN. This rocks, i would grab this deck in a heartbeat!

That's awesome!! I hope you're having fun with it so far! And thank you!! I can't even tell you the amount of times I've tried to illustrate a full tarot deck and given up after maybe 4 cards (too many times 😭). So I'm learning from my mistakes and aiming for a more realistic goal of 13 cards. My card choices for each song are kinda all over the place too so it wouldn't be a very cohesive deck anyway. But I'd also love a Red Vox deck if it ever existed.

I understand all too well about trying to illustrate a full tarot deck lol. I hardly manage to get through the Major Arcana 🥲. i recently picked up a deck called The Blood Moon Tarot, been really cool to look at when trying to think about the suits (since the artist made their own). Also idk if it helps at all, Oracle decks are more fluid and dont have as rigid of 'rules' as Tarot feels like it does :p theyre created around something thats connected to a shared idea (like a deity or animals) - it might also help with ideation for Tarot cards too. (I've been trying to make a deck around my favorite book series for fun lately so i did a lot of research 😅)

Oooh I just looked up that deck, the art is gorgeous! And I also didn't know that about Oracle decks! I've never really looked into them before but I definitely need to now.
