Blocking isn't working?

Tried to block an account from my front page, and the post disappeared like normal. But when I refreshed, the post was back. Any idea what's going wrong?

How close do you think you are to ~1,000 blocked accounts? Because this has been a long-standing issue. Once you're at about that threshold, even removing blocked accounts from your list doesn't open up new slots. Reddit does not care to fix it under some guise of preventing abuse or nonsense like not limiting free speech.

Thanks for the info. Seems to be the same with blocking subreddits (but Relay does a great job auto-hiding those). Just blocked accounts seems to be fucked

Oh yeah my account is like 15 years old. I could've easily blocked 1000 accounts by now.

FYI I've run into this issue several times (my account is really old). The good news is that deleting old blocks does open up new slots - eventually. I don't know exactly how long it takes, but I know that I have gone through several rounds of purging my old blocks, and each time I do that, after a few days I am able to block accounts again.

It's annoying, but at least it's possible.
