It's funny how new people can find random watches anywhere, and they can also find this sub.
But they can't find any needed information about the rep levels and qualities prior to making their purchases.
If you go on the main page and click wiki, there’s a list of trusted dealers there and would recommend checking them out over some page you found on Facebook! Hope this helps
Some people’s TD are another’s shitbag, so there’s that. Nothing wrong with getting multiple opinions, good and bad, rather than take the word of a list.
I would love for someone to even just send me a dm on the best quality for what I'm looking at. Some on the list have just AAA. But it's cool I'm sure with some work I'll find something that fit
Gold reps are not a good idea. The color doesn’t look like gold and after a few uses the gold will wear off and will look bad.
Stick to SS if you want it to actually look like the real thing. If you like gold, plenty of brands use PVD which is decently resistant and looks good.
I don’t want to come across as rude but you should read the “guide” again and then also ask yourself the question if Facebook is the best place to acquire the watch. I’ve personally only used dealers/websites that are found reputable through their reviews and sales.

Happy to help if needed, let’s start with photo’s of the actual watch they’re selling. If they’re not able to provide you with those photos to begin with, a red flag should appear somewhere in your brain.
Well tbh, it isn’t particularly common for people to be lackadaisical about their first purchase of an out of the ordinary product, let alone their first “luxury” (counterfeit) watch.
I'm going to listen and read more. Do you know why the one on trusty time is 188g vs the claim of 208 on the Facebook dealer? Like, is that the norm for weight when it's claimed as weighted?
