I’m playing Pokémon emerald on a phone and I’m trying to complete the Pokédex is it possible to trade Pokémon if I have retroarch on another phone? And when I look it up, I see conflicting information.

I've seen online people utilizing shaders from Duimon's Mega Bezel pack in order to achieve a sceen gap on the 3DS Citra core similar to the native built in option on DeSmuME core. I am curious if anyone has a tutorial on how to achieve this effect? Thanks!

I'm having an issue running this game on android retroarch where all the textures appear black as seen in the screenshot. I tinkered with the video options but the only thing that fixed the textures made the game lag badly and run at a crawl even in the menus. What settings do i have to change to get the textures working and the game running at the expected speed?

I tried Latest Stable and Nightly Versions and same issue happens

Is there any way you can redirect the data/install files of where Retroarch is located? That way if you delete the app, or something happens to it. You can start it up and redirect it towards the files for it to work and have the old settings. Or if you want to move this stuff to a new device, and you don't want to go through the problem of messing with new settings all over again.​

Like you can do with some emulators. Like with Dolphin, vita3k, armsx2, armsx3 and ppsspp.

I’ve spent the entire day trying to figure out how to trade pokemon on Retroarch on IOS and finally found out that I can’t use TGB Dual to trade pokemon between Red and Blue on my iphone from one ROM to another. However, I can figure out a way to be able to control the second screen without an external controller. I’d ideally like to be able to swap which screen is being controlled, so I can swap from screen one to screen two and vice versa. If that isn’t possible, being able to control them at once would be nice.

So, I have an Xbox controller which I'm using to play Conker's Bad Fur Day, it has been mapped, even with the exclusive C buttons option but every time I press B it, not only hits with the pan, but also goes to a "first or second person" view kind of thing(?). The control mapping shows the B button as B only and C buttons are X,Y, L3 and R3. Does anyone know how to fix the issue or which is exactly the issue?

A little more context, if I interchange A and B then I jump with B and it doesn't go to the close view, but if I press A and then B it hits with the pan (A button) and then the camera comes close to the second person view.

I have android retroarch on a softmodded arcade1up with a bluetooth keyboard attached and when I go to explore-search name to find a title certain keys trigger other stuff. I'm looking for some kind of option that suspends whatever other key binds are in place when using the search function beyond using the on screen keyboard

I’ve been spending hours trying to get this to work. I’ll try to explain everything I’ve done as best I can.

I have 15 Philips CDi games I’m trying to play on android (Ayn Thor) using retroarch. I converted the games to CHD format using CHDMan since I heard the same-CDi core doesn’t work with bin and cue files. I’ve added the cdimono 1/2 files and the bios files onto my bios directory for retroarch. I’ve made sure they’re the correct ones as well. Everytime I try to boot a game, it says “fatal error: required files are missing, the machine cannot be runned”. I’ve tried everything I can. If anybody found a way to fix this, please let me know. I really want to play my CDi games. Thanks.

I'm using the dolphin core on retroarch to play Super Mario Galaxy 2, I have binded all of the tilt controls, I'm using the mouse for the cursor and I'm using a Switch Pro Controller for the controller— but even then I simply cannot figure out how I make this stupid ball stop moving forward on its own!

The same thing happens with the flying minigames or minigames that require tilt controls. Someone, please help me!
