New here
For anyone using Ro for weight loss: how much exercise do you typically do each week, and for how long per workout? I’m curious what’s realistic and what others have been advised to do.

I would hit the weights heavy and stick to a workout routine. Muscle loss is real and it hits fast and is hard to get back. I would keep the protein and fiber up and drink a ton of water. Take some collagen to help with elasticity in your skin. Honestly just get into good routines. I lost 60lbs and have kept it off without maintenance doses. It literally is a lifestyle change. Find good habits and stick to them

Thank you! I do lift heavy as it is and do cardio and got down a routine. I just dont see anything happening. Ive gained extra weight as well, obviously some of that is muscle but bellyfat is still there. I do care a lot about what I eat too, so im just looking into options honestly

All I have been doing so far is walking for 45 minutes, 3 or 4 days a week. I have lost roughly 45lbs in 12 weeks, and am still on the 5mg dosage. I'm in my late 40's now, and am 6'2. I have a history of weight training and athletics beginning from roughly my teens up thru D2 college baseball. Around age 35, I began to struggle with major depressive disorder that put me in a 10 year hole of despair and inactivity that led to slow and steady weight gain. Over those years I went from 205lbs to 370lbs, so I gained roughly 2lbs per month. At that maximum weight, just walking up one flight of stairs would usually have me out of breath. I felt completely unable to help myself back onto the right track. It was a sulf fulfilling negative cycle, where I felt I was too fat to exercise, and despite eating extremely healthy I just kept very slowly gaining 2-4lbs per month.
My doctors finally found a successful treatment for my resistant depression in 2025. I then started Zepbound via RO in June, 2026. I have gone from 370lbs down to 325lbs. Honestly just losing the first 5 or 10lbs gave me the kick in the ass I needed to tell myself "Hey, you CAN do this. There is hope." and that got me walking regularly at the gym. I can now climb about 6-7 flights of stairs before my breath gets a bit labored as compared to practically being gasping for air after 1 flight just 2 months ago.

I haven’t done much besides bike rides on the weekends. I walk a ton for my gig, averaging about 14,000 steps/day, but definitely not working out. Have lost 54 pounds since February.
