Question Is this normal?

It ran for two weeks on high speed until I got the adaptor. This happened after 3 days on slow. I changed the belt but it is weird. Like the belt is not bad yet. Why is it spitting out black stuff on week three on 1/2 speed? I guess I need to find more replacement belts?

I would clean off the belt with a damp paper towel and clean off the machine. Then run the machine without the barrel on it for like an hour, if possible, and see if the belt generates any little bits? If it doesn't then it's the barrel?

Loosen the belts if you can. Maybe that can help?

My motor burned out quick but I replaced it fairly easy.

Are you sure that's all from the belt? Sometimes the rubber barrel will shed rubber like that.

No, I am not sure. I wondered the same because the belt seems pretty intact.

To me it looks like the large gear holding the belt is being worn away, not the belt itself.

I had this happen on my cheap tumbler, it was shifting itself towards the wall, causing the extra wear. I've changed its position, so it no longer moves around.

Hi. Try this voltage regulator. I have some of those LED dimmers but moved to the regulator when a couple quit working. As stated above clean the belt and pulleys. Possible belt adjustment/replacement. Cheers!

yep, thats normal. your belt is toast. they are made as cheap as possible.

I have that same chinese tumbler and it's the only one I've had to replace a belt on, and that was after like 3 tumbles on slow speed.
