Here is a picture of the “frogs/toads” I was talking about.

If you notice they sometimes hide under the sliding door and depending on the angle, to me it can look like a snake.

But for context, there are a lot of these toads all over my compound. We don’t have a pond or anything so I’m not sure why our spot specifically is enticing to them.

I guess I noticed we have like no cockroaches which means these guys are helping with other pests…

But I’ve heard they release secretions that can be dangerous to dogs.

I wanted to use a special material for lawn edging. I ordered some steel landscape edging since it's readily available online.

My sprinkler technician lives in Sacramento. He told me that his father is a landscaper who can install the materials. When I texted his father, he wanted $250 an hour for 30 ft of edging. I told him my electrician charges around $230 an hour, but he's worth the price. When I asked for pictures of his previous installations so I could judge his work, he didn't have any. Why am I not surprised? You have to really search long and hard to find the real professionals out there. What a task as a homeowner.

Young adolescents riding around on eBikes/eScooters are better drivers than Tesla owners. The voting for the worst drivers in Placer County was very close. I recommend for elected officials to pass a bill banning both of them.

Hey neighbors! My wife is expecting our first baby early next year. Both of us work long hours in healthcare and we try our best to keep up with cleaning around the house. However, with this new addition coming, we are looking for a reliable cleaner (independent or small company) here on the West side of Roseville for a recurring clean every 6 weeks. Nothing too crazy, just general house cleaning to help us stay on top of things.

Bonus points if you or someone you've used has experience with dog fur — we've got a dog at home, who I swear sheds a whole ass dog every week. Note: I'll plan on taking the dog to daycare on the days the cleaners are here.

Ever since we moved to west Roseville, my hair has been falling like crazy. The same for my family members.

I went to the bay for a couple of days and my hair did not feel stripped out of its natural oils after showering and the moment I showered back home my hair went back to its frizzy self?

I caught a glimmer enjoying the colorful sky leaving Sunsplash yesterday.

I do online school and I find I focus better when I work out of my house. I live at my dad’s house in Roseville Thursday to Sunday and I have work on the weekends until 3. Since I have a lot of work I need to get done I usually will go to the library but most of the locations will only stay open until 5 or 6 which isn’t enough time, the Downtown location is open until 8 but that’s ending soon so I need to find a new spot. If possible, I want it to be open until at least 8 or 9, later would be great.

I would prefer it was in a free public space than in a business but if there aren’t any that can do as well, I just need to have accessibility to WiFi and outlets to plug in my laptop. I appreciate any help, thank you!

The past few days I've noticed triple crown on the corner of cirby and Riverside lots of cars are missing on the lot. Going to work today and watching some workers removing the sign on the building.

Another dealership gone.
