Hey guys, just wanted to see if you guys have any recommendations on laptops for school work and maybe gaming but the latter isn’t a big priority.

My own laptop broke a few days before I moved into my dorm and now I’m stuck using computer labs for work in the foreseeable future. I’m planning on buying one soon but just not sure what. I know the apple education store gives student discounts on MacBooks so that’s definitely something I’m considering.

I also want one that could run some games if possible which the MacBook isn’t built for so I haven’t bought one just yet. If you guys have some recommendations for decent laptops I’d love to hear em.

Glassboro has the largest number of Flock cameras in all of NJ. I submitted a public records request: they recorded almost 1 million plates in the last month using around 30 cameras on Rowan Campus.

Many of you have heard about Flock cameras and other ALPRs, which many people including myself deem unconstitutional have been used by police to stalk exes and make false arrests. ICE has also gained access to some parts of the network, which in itself is not secure.

I recently started Deflock Rowan to try and get the Flock cameras removed and ALPRs banned from Rowan campus, but I need your help! Please check out my website and get in contact with me to get involved.

My request for the Rowan blvd was just rejected and now I have nowhere to park my car while living on campus, I already tried the townhouse parking but I couldn’t get a pass there either. Are there any free parking options around? I have no clue what to do with my car.

Hello everyone! I am a PhD student in clinical psychology at Adelphi University. I am conducting a study on the relationship between existential threat and mental health, coping strategies, and meaning making for young adults who have experienced stressful life events.

This study is being conducted online only and should take approximately 45-60 minutes to complete. I haven’t ordered or bought a laptop yet and was thinking about just getting one through the Rowan/lenovo site. It leaves the warehouse to though in 1-2 weeks and school obviously starts in a few days. Do I need a laptop the first couple weeks? I am going into my third year after transferring and I’m not sure how much is actually needed. I have my iPad in the meantime.

Hey, I’m a freshman and I was wondering if I got something delivered bigger than the given mailbox size, and it was sent to the mailroom (say, at my dorm holly), isn’t it possible for someone to impersonate as me and just get the package?

Or do they verify and check the name, student photo and addressed mailbox number to whoever’s picking it up?

Essentially asking how safe it is to get bigger stuff delivered
