I identified a problem I have suffered for years at this point. I have never had the best hygiene due to fatigue and sensory issues. I developed a severe chronic illness and now it’s even worse. I’m just too physically limited to keep on top of it. It’s a huge project that is always one step forward four steps back. I would really like to take up witchcraft but the clutter and dirt, including on my body, just makes me not want to. For example, I had the idea of turning bathing into a ritual so that it will feel more tolerable. But magic-afying doesn’t work very well when there is so much gunk, and hair, and an overflowing trash can, and piles of towels, and all this stuff that I can’t do anything about right now. I want to do grounding work in my bedroom, but all the surrounding piles of things, pill bottles, dirt, just makes it feel like the energy is disrupted. There is no clear energetic space to do the work. I mean there isn’t even physical space for anything really either.

The problem boils down to the fact that you have to have some level of presence or synergy or connection in order to do rituals and spell work and etc, but my space overwhelms me, and feels like it poisons everything. Kind of like, doing witchcraft, or even just basic self care, on top of all this would be like painting over mold. Like you can’t do the thing when the foundation is rotten. But I’ve never been able to achieve a foundation which isn’t rotten, so I just never start.

​i think would say this- I weave energy with the elements. balance and creativity are the foundation of the thing I do. Contemplate balance and push your creativity to its limit you'll start pouring out energy find a way to gather that energy and then dump it on your next rock formation or alter. There's never anything artificial on an alter MH it's all natural off from the woods with permission. If you got a pocket full of rocks, handful of leaves you can't stop staring at and your perplexed and in awe of moss...... you're on the right track.
Casting spells is a very minute part of this. the most powerful witches I've ever known don't cast spells. There's a time for the books and then there's a time to put the books down. You can learn more from a blade of grass than all of the text in the world combined.
You have an electromagnetic field. It's a natural force field strengthen it you'll never need to cast a protection spell again. the most important thing is this , go out to the woods where everything's living and dying naturally. no signs of mankind. lay down everything you think you know and everything you believe and go search for God with all of your heart and soul like a little child. Your mother's out there waiting for you . if you already have a connection to the Earth that's great! take it further ,take it deeper! it goes on infinite . don't stop now , she wants to be closer to you, she's waiting for you , she loves you. Let her guide you, she's taught me everything I know about sticks and rocks, which are my favorite things in the whole wide world by the way.
you know when you love the smell of a flower or think that the tree is beautiful she takes that personally, like telling your mom shes beautiful. make her smile.

I grew up religious up until my early 20's and became completely atheist but l've always felt spiritual and "witchy" growing up, I miss the sense of mysticism. I also struggle with anxiety/ocd so exploring these topics becomes a little obsessive. I would just like to know if there are spiritual people out there that are able to find a balance? I find all of it hard to believe but I need some whimsy in my life
