It's no surprise that the /r/SJSU subreddit is looking pretty inactive on the moderator end, and in desperate need of cleaning out the spam messages and ongoing college life posts.
Moderating forums is a volunteer experience, but you will strive to create a strong and enjoyable local community!

What we're looking for:
Active SJSU Students / Alumni who are still strongly connected to the SJSU campus.
As of now, there is no set deadline when the application process will end, and responses will be done on a case-by-case basis. With that said, thank you for reading, and we wish the best!

Where on campus does the school wifi actually work, because it’s only been two weeks and I’m already so frustrated. I’ve tried my hotspot too but not enough bars in whichever building I’m in. I’m wondering if there are some locations where it works better??
Currently building a mobile application that’s on test flight already. But need a technical co founder so I can focus on business operations and marketing. Anyone interested?
Last known date is 26th august. i only move between my apartment and the uni, have already checked in with most of the departments at the university, VTA lost and found.

Hi all! I’m graduating this semester and applying for the multi subject credential masters program at SJSU. I was wondering how other people’s experiences were. I don’t plan to start until next summer but I’d love some insight! Did you enjoy the experience and find it helpful? Where classes as hard as undergrad professors claim they’d be? Did they send you super far away for your student teaching? Did you do the residency program and if so how was your experience?
Legit just anything you’re willing to share! I hear so many people go into the program but I never see people talk about it, which makes me super anxious. So learning anything would be super helpful.
Does anyone have any recommendations on how to study for moussa’s 121A intermediate accounting class. I feel that he is extremely fast paced and barely covers the topics in class. He has his lecture recordings but it could take so much time to go through all of them plus the McGraw hill homework that is also very time consuming. Then adding the work from my other classes it feels so overwhelming.
I’m not trying to complain or anything. I just need help figuring out a study plan and what exactly to take notes on because there’s just so much information.
I also work so time and energy is hard to balance.
Thank you.
Hey yall ik this is random and has nothing to do with school but does anyone know how to size a metal bracelet or like have the tools to size mine? or if not if there is a place close to campus to size it because I found some in SJ but they are more further away and I just want somewhere close if anyone knows thanks!
Please turn it in to the sjsu lost and found bro the cards are already cancelled and I really dont care that you spent money on them. I have things in that wallet that are irreplaceable like a photo from prom that I don’t have an another physical/digital copy of. It means a lot to me. So please please give it to the lost and found.
Hi! Two rooms are opening up in a victorian house (4BD 2BA with a loft, in unit laundry and hardwood floors) two blocks from campus. Each room is 1550, and there are two parking spaces. There is one housemate, a young working professional at a school in a neighboring district. This would be ideal for SJSU students or faculty. Lease goes until next July, with option to renew.
Why do people just let their stuff sit in the washers and dryers? Are they stupid? Do they want their stuff to get taken out and put on the ground or something? Do they have some type of memory disorder? No phone to set a timer on? You may say it's not that serious. Unfortunately I have no sympathy for idiots who make other peoples' lives more difficult.
Is it a thing where people need to have their stuff taken out and put on the ground to learn their lesson? lol
Want to check your ears and hearing? Will you be on the SJSU campus?
The Audiology Clinic at San Jose State offers hearing tests with no fees provided by Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) students under the supervision of licensed audiologists. You can donate to the Audiology department using a QR code at the appointment, but it is not required.
You can use the online scheduling tool on their department website:
Hello everyone, I'm trying to spice up my hair style for the first time. Is there any place nearby that is willing to bleach parts of or my entire scalp as soon as possible?
Details: Asian male, very short (~1/2 inch) and stiff hair
Hello!! To keep the story short, I'm currently enrolled in an application-heavy online class where we need to use Adobe After Effects. The laptop that I bring with me to campus can barely run it, and I feel like it's gonna get worse as the term progresses. Are there any computer labs on campus that students can use for these applications?
If so, do I need reservations? Is it first come, first served?
I am a senior applying to CSU schools for civil engineering.
The 2026 Impaction score is 4080 and I have a 3986. Should I apply for Electrical Engineering (3000 score) and try to transfer to civil engineering once I get in or should I apply for civil engineering and electrical as a backup.
