Avoid Committing a ULP
This is information taken from today's SPEEA town hall, and I think you'll hear this guidance a lot from the union. Please take it under advisement.
I also want to take a moment to clarify: I am NOT employed or directed by the union, I don't speak on behalf of SPEEA. I'm a SPEEA member just like you.
I will continue filtering posts on the subreddit just to avoid falling prey to some of these ULP actions - a few posters I've already explained this to, and they were very gracious in their understanding. I think people just genuinely want to know what and how to behave, and I think this guidance from the union is helpful there.

Is there a materially significant difference between:
I know the difference might seem arbitrary, but I believe the first is a ULP, whereas the 2nd is just discussion, even if the speaker means the exact same thing with just different levels of emotional charge between the statements.
