Lexapro Post SSRI Executive Dysfunction

Can anyone advise why I have really bad executive dysfunction after ssris? I am almost 2 years off, and I delay everything every assignment everything I need to do. My brain still thinks it's on meds and behaves super chill without a care in the world. How can I get back to my original state? This is too far out.

Yeah it’s called anhedonia and SSRIs can make it worse and it’s a symptom of depression. With or without meds.

I was diagnosed ADHD two years ago, and two weeks ago I was forced to abruptly cease Lexapro. In the last week I've gotten more done than I had in a year. I really hope it stays like this because this is one MASSIVE positive among the withdrawal symptoms

Did you experience this when you first went off them?

That sounds like PSSD. Im Sorry. We have a strong community here based around researching/reporting our symptoms https://discord.gg/V4ePmpSxwA

PSSD? This is more of like amotivational syndrome and unable to get anything done due to high level of serotonin possibly and low levels of dopamine. PSSD is sexual dysfunction not executive dysfunction.

Its a poor naming system. Its so much more than that. It's very vast and could fall into a lot of different categories. Im sorry you are going through this. Remember you are not alone

The PSSD people noticed that the sexual dysfunction often comes with multiple other harms so decided to claim those other harms as part of their label. I don't think this makes any sense, it just confuses times and the other harms can be described by themselves and often come separately from sexual dysfunction.

I say this in the nicest possible way because everyone is hurting and we're all on the same side, but I think it just confuses the issue.
