Hi! I’m working on a personal product/UX project exploring task initiation and avoidance — specifically those completely ordinary tasks (replying to an email, making an appointment, filling out a form, cleaning something) that somehow feel disproportionately hard to start.

I’m trying to understand what actually happens in those moments: what makes a task feel heavier, what helps people come back to it, and whether the usual productivity-app stuff actually helps or just adds more pressure.

I’ve put together 6 quick questions, mostly multiple choice, and it should take around 2–3 minutes. You don’t need to use a productivity app or have any particular diagnosis to answer.

I'm building a daily guessing game like wordle about prehistoric animals as a university project. It picks one animal a day and you try to work out what it is.

After a few weeks of staring at my own list I've completely lost the ability to tell what's famous and what's obscure. Everything on it looks normal to me now, which is a problem. I ran the whole thing against Wikipedia pageview counts to cut the most obscure entries and it helped, but yesterday's answer was Tuojiangosaurus, and I had to look it up myself.... I wrote the list 😭

So this is 234 names grouped into sections, and all you do is tick the ones that mean nothing to you. Takes about three minutes.

Did you know nearly 40% of food in India is wasted, often simply because consumers or local vendors aren't 100% sure if packaged meat, fish, or fresh produce is still fresh?

To solve this, we are developing Sure Fresh—a cheap, eco-friendly indicator paper strip infused with natural plant pigments (like red cabbage - anthocyanin). The paper strip changes color the moment it senses spoilage gases inside a package, giving shoppers instant visual confidence before buying or cooking.
