Not sure if it applies to most territories, but thought I’d mention since I’m assuming quite a few people will be discovering his films through the podcast. A rare Netflix W anyway.

Both Jake and Adam have rated it highly, and Alex I guess hasn't seen it yet. Would be a fun discussion I think.

I just listened to the Disclosure Day discussion and man it really is fantastic to have these guys really debate about movies, whether it was this or Funny Games, the conversations are so much interesting now than they ever have been. when the podcast started it mostly felt like everyone was agreeing other than the occasional exception but now it really feels like in almost every episode there’s some interesting discussion or disagreement.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone say a bad word about Alex on this subreddit.

People used to shit on Ralph constantly, deservedly or undeservedly. Adum is always polarising and gets a bit of criticism from time to time. But I genuinely can't remember ever seeing a thread complaining about Alex.

Drew Gooden is a YouTuber I've been watching for a long time now, and especially within these last years, hes really showed his interest in serious discussions of Film and TV and I really enjoy listening to his commentary.

I also think he'd be an amazing guest in terms of humor and conversation (and probably political alignment lol). Does anyone have any strong thoughts on his content, especially as he has been making more serious dissections of media recently?

I managed to see this while I’m on vacation in Korea and it’s legit one of the most unhinged, absurd and exhilarating action movies from the past decade! Had such a blast both ironically and unironically

I’m confident Jake, Adum and Alex will all have different/strong opinions to be vocal about and I think it’d be a great conversation! Hopefully they’ll talk about it when they’ve all seen it by late September or early October 🙏🙏
