Showcase Fun little Baux Outposts
I built these a while ago but was flying over the red forest and re-noticed them. Just fun little outposts to fly out the baux rather than ugly belts thru the forest. Thought I would share

I love the idea and execution of a mining outpost. It elevates the miner area to more than just a machine. Well done

Also the red forest is just suchan impossible area in the map. Its the middle but one of the worst places to explore. So the fact it is so desolate makes small outposts a lore sense in my mind. I will prob make more up here later but for now its just an untamed wilderness. Lore for the win!

You might want to check throughput on those, if they have to travel far then they won’t be able to carry enough ore to match the miner rate or the belt capacity. I find it hard to get drones to do more than 2 1/2 stacks or so, and since ore stacks to 100 that’s 250 maybe 300 ore per minute.
Edit: also, this design is great, I love industrial aesthetic. When I get to drones in SF+ I’m going to use a variation of this for parts logistics. :3
