How long will the brick wall at 52nd st and Bee rd last this time?
When will someone inevitably crash into it again?
Options:
1. Before Halloween
2. Between Halloween and Christmas
3. After Christmas

As a tennis player and swimmer, I cannot STAND how much SCAD monopolizes our public utilities. There are months where finding a tennis court at Daffin in peak hours is impossible because SCAD practices there. Same goes for the aquatic center, there is an entire season where the lap lanes are almost all unavailable because the SCAD swim team needs practice space. At what point will the city stop letting this institution overrun everything?

Just tried to pay my water bill through the city website but when I clicked “pay bill” it never loads. Is anyone else having issues or know a work around?
thanks!

Has anyone done any swimming at the Chatham county aquatic center? I am just curious into joining when the months turn a little cooler. I am a mediocre swimmer at best but I do enjoy swimming laps for my mental wellbeing but don't want to be in any serious swimmer's way. I'd like to know your experience if you've ever been here. And if you're not a serious swimmer--but still take it seriously, even better :) thaannkkss.

Hello, I’m interested in who you go to for styling or decorating for a party? Specifically looking for someone to bring my Bridgerton party dream to life. Savannah has so many historic venues, but where’s the historic party designers!

Hi! I am posting this on behalf of a friend who is looking for a sub letter for the rest of their lease, I hope that’s ok. I didn’t see anything in community rules against posting rentals so here it is.
Edited: rent is 1300, sq ft is 216.5
Studio Sublet (Nov 2026 - Aug 2027) w/ in unit washer/dryer on W 31st St walking distance to Forsyth Park $1300/mo
219 W 31st Street -
$1300/month. November 2026 - August 2027 (10 month sublease preferred).
No utilities included. Street parking.
Average Electric bill is $70/mo (GA Power)
Water/Waste Disposal around $30/mo. (City of Savannah)
216.5 sq ft
Partially furnished, Studio with in unit washer, dryer, and dish washer. Perfect for a student to bike or walk to most SCAD buildings, a few blocks from Forsyth Park. Lots of cabinets/shelving in the kitchen. Also has working refrigerator, stove, microwave, and garbage disposal. Two AC/heating units, one in the bedroom and one in the kitchen. One closet. Walkable to many shops, restaurants, bars and downtown. Plenty of natural light. Very responsive and nice maintenance team if there ever is an issue with plumbing or locks, ect. Move in date Nov 1 preferred. Small pet(s) are comfortable in the space and welcome. I don’t want to take the grey sofa that pulls out to a bed so I will be leaving that in the unit (I will be cleaning it fully but if you don’t want it that is ok, I will donate it. Bring your own twin mattress and you’ll have a bed/sofa ready for you).
Front and rear entrance and exit from unit.
Bathroom has a standing shower and small sink.
Unit is upstairs with access to veranda facing 31st Street. Veranda is also shared by other upstairs unit. Very quiet building. Been living here 2 years and never had an issue with neighbors or noise. 31st Street is a brick street, so very little traffic coming and going. Let me know If you are interested in this cozy and safe space.

$2000 studio apartments with a view of the Greyhound station and the hotel/restaurant dumpsters were never going to fix the housing crisis. Apartment buildings like this could be affordable apartments for our large transient population of students and contracted workers. The homes could stay homes. I'm oversimplifying because I don't know the nuts and bolts of affordable housing. But someone here has to, right?
I just know that I've had to move every year or two to an apartment that is worse and more expensive than the last one. Forget saving for a home.
Let's say we did have a different mayor, just as an exercise. If you could "Mayor Mamdani" the Savannah housing crisis, what could make housing affordable? Can we please put our minds to it and really think about what a solution looks like?
I'm sure there are groups here making plans and needing our support. Shout them out.

FedEx seems to be incapable of delivering my packages to the right address. Today they attempted delivery for the second time and took this grainy picture which is definitely not my office. The first time they tried to deliver, the photo was just a black screen like someone placed the camera face down on the truck seat, so this is progress I guess. On the tracking it says they’re trying to deliver it to Pooler when the address I gave is nowhere near Pooler.

Found this cat near One Cut Above, foaming sligh at the mouth but very friendly and even stood on my leg. Wondering if they belong to anyone.

how long has that mural been there? i guess it’s better than the shitty graffiti that the city has to paint over every month. hopefully now that it’s not a blank canvas, it’ll stay that way.

My psychiatrist abruptly shut his practice so I’m looking for someone new. I’ve tried LifeStance in the past and it was kind of a mess, so I don’t want to go there. There are no Psychiatrists at Shrink Savannah that take my insurance (Anthem BCBS.) My insurance doesn’t cover telehealth so it has to be in-person. I’m stable on my medication cocktail so I really just need someone to write prescriptions every month. Preferably not a jerk. Thanks.

Anyone have suggestions for ordering a large quantity of sushi in sav, for like a party of 8-10 people? Looking for good quality, doesn’t have to be the cheapest but open to suggestions.

I have a 1987 Honda Accord DX Sedan 4at a20a1 carbureted 150k miles and I'm looking for somewhere nearby or even a mobile mechanic who's willing to install a Weber carburetor (I have one on hand) and perform a vacuum delete, does anybody have any recommendations?

Pretty much the tin.
I've got 10 boxes of black latex gloves (about 1,000), size medium. Ordered them by mistake and am looking to give them away to someone who can use them.
