Hello everyone,
I am seeking guidance regarding a rental case in Sharjah from the COVID-19 period and urgently need advice on my situation.
Background: I lived in a flat for two years with an official agreement. In the 3rd year, I could not renew the contract because the landlord refused to negotiate and demanded the full amount upfront. I did not sign a 3rd-year agreement nor did I provide any cheques for that year.
Legal Case & Judgement: The landlord opened a rental case against me during COVID-19. I followed up with the court and was instructed to pay 30% down with the remaining balance split into monthly installments.
Current Situation: Both my husband and I faced severe financial hardship. I lost my job, and my husband lost his job and later had to take a much lower-paying role. We have 3 children to support, and despite applying to numerous charities, we have not received any assistance.
Poli** App & Travel Concern: When checking the Sharjah Poli** app, my status shows as "wan***d." Does this status mean I have an active travel ban?
My father recently passed away, and I am heartbroken. I was too scared to travel earlier because of this situation, but now I urgently need to visit my home country to be with my family and then return to the UAE.
If anyone has experienced a similar rental court issue in Sharjah, could you please clarify:
Does the "Wan***d" status in the police app automatically mean a travel ban is in place?
How can I safely clear or check this status, or request a temporary leave/settlement plan through the court?
Are there specific legal aid contacts or organizations in Sharjah that can assist with resolving rental execution cases?
Any advice, guidance, or shared experiences would mean the world to me and my family during this difficult time.
Thank you so much in advance

Hi everyone! I’m looking for a shared car lift/commute from Al Taawun, Sharjah to Dubai Marina.
📍 From: Al Taawun, Sharjah
📍 To: Dubai Marina
📅 Days: Monday to Thursday
🕘 Office timings: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM
I’m flexible with the arrangement I can drive and share the costs with someone travelling the same route, or I’m happy to join someone who is already driving from Sharjah to Dubai Marina.
Mainly looking to share the commute and reduce the travel/Salik costs for both of us.
Car only please no buses or vans.
If you have similar timings and are interested, please DM me. Thank you!

Salam Alaikum.
[NOTE: Got it done. Thanks for the suggestions everyone]
I am not sure if this is the right query for this sub, so please go easy on me, Mr./Ms. Mod.
I'm planning to set up my gaming PC. I have most of my major components with me i.e. PSU, GPU, CPU, MoBo, CPU Cooler, RAM, SSDs etc.
I just need a decent gaming case and maybe a few good quality cables. And a technician to assemble it (I don't wanna risk doing it myself because I don't have tiny raccoon-like fingers).
Trouble is I'm not sure where to get a reliable vendor/technician for it in Sharjah. Most of the PC gaming enthusiasts and vendors are based in Dubai. I currently don't have time or energy to go that far just to get a desktop casing.
So, if any of you know of any decent vendors in Sharjah, that would be great.
Thank you for your attention to the matter.

I want to get the intake system checked for any vacuum/boost/air leaks, preferably with a smoke test.
Does anyone know a good shop in the UAE that can properly diagnose air leaks on an Lancer Evo X
Preferably somewhere around Sharjah. Thanks!

I graduated last year and got my A level result certificate attested but I didn't get any "Graduation cerificate" from my school, is that not a thing here or do I have to request it on Daleel? Or is the A level result certificate considered a graduation certificate? Is it really necessary to have one?

Hi, I am a frequent commuter on Sharjah buses. However, even after using them regularly, I still haven’t been able to understand why the bus timings change so often.
Can anyone guide me on how I can check the correct timings of SRTA buses? The buses don’t seem to arrive at the same time every day, even at the same stop.
Is there any app, website, or other way to know the actual expected arrival times?
