  1. Generation 1 megatron was a pistol. But that was from 1984 to 1987. He's been other things since then including a plane and t rex.

It never made sense to me that the decepticons were all these war machines - tanks, fighters, guns while the Autobots were - a truck or a car. How were they supposed to fight!

I always took it as dont trust the military. Which in a lot of movies still seems to be the theme lol
