SP has lost the plot

SP's official Arts Fiesta Peatix site with an AI generated banner with "Celebrating Arts and Culture" on its post. They also used AI to edit and expand each club's poster (most of, or all of which were hand drawn and edited and made by students) to fit the landscape format.
I was one of the students that helped design my club's Arts Fiesta poster so I've seen what the posters looked like and how ALL of the posters were edited with AI by the organising team, so I just really felt infuriated that the organising team did this without asking any of the clubs.
Heres the link to the Peatix Page if yall would like to see the AI slop posters up close.

Fablab F2F assessments

I already finished the online components(content/quizzes/terms & conditions etc) for both 3D printing & laser cutting, all I'm left is the F2F assessments. Honestly, I'm kinda scared I'm gna be lost during the assessment since the online packages were pretty long (esp for 3D printing).

If anyone has done these F2F assessments before, cld u pls share
- how was it
- what exactly is being 3d printed / laser cut ?
- did u need to prepare anything beforehand
- did u need to memorise all the steps (from the online package)
- are we allowed to refer to stuff? digital/hardcopy notes
- were the lecturer(s) mean/nice
- was it done in T11C fablab

Also
- 3D printer has 2 types -- Bambu & Prusa, must I know how to use both?
- Same with Laser cutter, there's more than 1 type, must I really be familiar with every single model?
- I tried the apps on my laptop(e.g. Bambu slicer) and the steps from brightspace seem a lil outdated --> the current app layout looks different than the brightspace

The Great CCC (grading)

As a y1 student, I could sort of have some predictions on my grades except for ccc modules.

I heard from seniors that some of their ccc modules didnโ€™t even have any A in their whole entire class. How can it be? Especially for a module as easy as CDA. Isnโ€™t it unfair and brutal?

Seniors, if you know your statistics, can please share your experience with ccc modules such as grades and the class performance?

Anyone currently in Part-Time Computer Network and Systems programme?

Hi! Iโ€™m planning to enrol in SPโ€™s Part-Time Diploma in Engineering (Computer Network & Systems) and was wondering if anyone currently taking the course could share which 3 days of the week lessons are usually held.

I know the classes are stated to be in the evenings (6:30pmโ€“10:30pm), but Iโ€™m trying to find out the actual weekdays the lessons are conducted.

Thanks in advance!

Can I get into the Polytechnics in Singapore?

I have finished IGCSE. For reference, I got As and A* in the 2 maths, Physics, ICT and CS. Got a B in chem and a C in English. Heard that getting into one is pretty competitive and stuff and stuff. I want to study computer science, specifically ai and robotics stuffs. And there's 5 of them so which one shall I look for? What are my chances of getting accepted? And one more thing, I'd like to get in with the tuition grant and how do I look out for that? Please help me out.

What's the earliest I can reach sch?

I have a paper at 9am but I wna do some practice qns to 'warm up' my brain, so I gotta reach sch earlier.

I kinda experimented on Monday and reached sch at 7am but then I realized quite a few students were already there in T11sq. It looked like they've been there for quite some time alr, not like they just arrived -- like laptop, stationary scattered on the table and everything

I'm just wondering what's the earliest timing I can enter the school

Getting into poly

So I got like As for bio n chem n Bs for everything else n a C for math, in igcses which was very disappointing as I was expecting much higher considering all the hard work I put in for ts. I'm planning to join a polytechnic in Singapore for a science based course. I'm just not really sure if I can get in with my average grades and the courses I'm aiming quite competitive n I'm also a foreigner so I believe my chances are quite slim of getting in.
