When you get down to it, why does that matter? If Democrats only exist to suppress real opposition to Republicans, it means they're all on the same team even if they don't present themselves that way to the public. Notice how shit keeps getting worse, no matter who is in charge.

Gas would be cheaper, groceries would be cheaper, billionaires wouldn’t get tax cuts while pediatric cancer treatment funding gets cut to pay for them, we wouldn’t be at war with Iran for whatever reason, the president wouldn’t have grifted the public into hundreds of millions of dollars for his family and friends, farmers wouldn’t be struggling to sell the produce, there wouldn’t be outbreaks of explosive diarrhea, measles, and god knows what else. The White House wouldn’t look like a trailer park and wouldn’t smell of feces that is been sitting in a diaper because the adult wearing said diaper fell asleep.

I mean no, I can’t prove it off top of my head and don’t want to research it just to reply to a stranger. But have you ever thought that maybe it’s so common because it’s becoming clearer and clear that it’s the truth? Or at least getting closer to the truth? I think it’s entirely plausible there are religious motivations behind many decisions in government, I don’t think that’s a far fetched concept at all, and making Israel the source of those religious motivations isn’t much of a stretch.

I think my concern is that it’s pretty stupid to connect the actions of a nation to a religion - because then any action, no matter how evil, can be labeled and defended as a religious motivation, and therefore produces a shield against scrutiny. I think that’s also the shield that the USA benefits from and allows everyone to commit crimes without accountability. I don’t see you as someone who is OK with the horrible actions of nation states around the world, so I don’t understand why it’s not OK to criticize Israel’s and US actions with it being threatened to be labeled as an anti-Semite. See the issue I’m outlining here? It’s bullshit. I’m not saying that actual anti-semitism is OK, it’s obviously wrong, but my concern is real and valid, and I think it’s a shield that deserves to be broken to ensure regimes cannot commit evil under the banner of any religion.

We should encourage Trump to spend all his time finding things to rename. Those are at least the policies that don’t result in anyone’s death, anyone being robbed, any families being ripped apart, any economic damage, any destruction of American historical sites, any giving away of American public land, etc. They’re the best decisions he’s made so far because they’re mostly just embarrassing, and we can just change them back later. But at least they aren’t like most of the stuff the Republicans do which cause real harm to people.

Also China has declared war on Taiwan and it seems imminent that Taipei will be taken along with all their super chip processing factories making China the uncontested global super power, Russia has declared war on NATO by bombing military infrastructure in Estonia and Poland and the USA abandoned its 5th article NATO duty when Putin invaded because of the crumbling failure of their (still ongoing) war in Iran, putting USA on the side of Russia and leaving Europe on its own. Russia does surprisingly well because their drone capabilities are unmatched by any modern army besides Ukraine who is already encumbered and wearied by the 3+ year war for their homeland.
Due to USA’s lack of response in Europe and Taiwan, North Korea feels emboldened and Kim Jong Un declared war on South Korea, who is also unsupported by the USA and receives only minimal aid from Japan and Australia.
Iran, Trump, and Hegserh have effectively taken the USA off the map as a global peace keeper and the cards are already beginning to fall.
In essence it’s WW3, the spark was the war in Iran, and the fuel was USA’s unwillingness and inability to respond to their promises.
