Because that comment is a sarcastic take on "not all men but always a man" type of stereotypes that are almost always targeted towards men that you took seriously.
Men being murderous brutes has become such a stereotype in true crime fandom that these people often manage to reason themselves into believing women cannot commit these crimes without any justification. It's just that vast majority of true crime fandom happen to be women, so stories are nitpicked and catered towards these folks, creating an echo chamber that results in such stereotypes.
The truth is humans are complex beings, anyone, regardless of gender, race or religion can commit crimes with or without any justification.

Not surprising to me, at all. I think Reddit’s been a pretty good indication to me, that some people will believe whatever they’re told online.
The actual source could even disprove it’s own, original statement. Most peoples’ attention spans won’t take them past the clickbait title, anyway. And many are willing to passionately argue in favor of things they evidently know little to nothing about.

I was in the camp of “she only did it because of the PPP and was failed by her family because she was told not to seek help by her husband and mother(-in-law?) but the fact remains she did that shit and needs to go away for killing three children”. It seems the discourse started out that way initially then all of a sudden people are saying she didn’t actually do it but her husband did? The job of the prosecution and defense is to lay out the evidence as clearly as possible.
As long as everyone's doing their job correctly, then either the facts are clear and the jury just needs to follow the evidence, or the facts are unclear, and an expert would be no better equipped than the jury to decide.
Of course, getting people to be able to do their job correctly is nontrivial, given public defenders are famously overworked, experts have been known to lie, etc.

These aren’t* regular facts like “did this person kill that person.” We already know that.
Trying to determine if the defendant was the killer or it was merely their body but with a different mind at the controls - that’s a difficult question to answer and experts aren’t all going to agree.
So what facts are they really going to present that paint a clear, objective picture?

Things like how postpartum depression affects people, people who can attest to the character of the defendant, statistics on if these sorts of people are prone to reoffending, etc.
Essentially, all the facts that a person would need to make a well informed decision. (That's the point of a trial)
The fact that experts don't agree is in part why a jury is necessary in the first place.
