Not really used to taking photos of paintings, sorry. This is done with acrylics, but she is mostly a digital artist. if interested you can find more of her work on https://www.instagram.com/a_star_guardian?igsi=ejVwYmFmd3Y4cXc1

Tried some games at 1000 and 2000 points and fell in love with the army, there's so much skill expression with this army, even if we're not in the best place right now.

So anyways, here's my first dab of paint on my sister's ☺️

Rules Question Divine guidance (combat patrol)

Post image
5 Upvotes

Hey there, I have a question concerning the usage restriction on 11th edition combat patrol‘s divine guidance ability of the canoness (see picture attached).

Can I use it once per turn for all of my units or just one unit? (Shooting or melee) wouldn’t this effectively mean I could use it almost all the time?

And how about in my opponents turn if it comes to a melee attack that my unit would fight back in.

Thanks it advance for the help and clarification!

A second unit of sacresants. This time each with a special weapon so I can intermingle them with the old, monopose ones I got with the made to order release that only had bolter pistols for distinguishable special weapons sisters. And another very crazy sister superior.

Next project is gonna have a big kitbash based on another project I saw on here. Gonna give my old canoness Nyomi a glow up with a new model for her.

Hobby What order colors should i pick

Post image

Almost done with my first figure but didn’t wanna build them fully till I painted the shield and head first from what was told to me on my previous post. Im just wondering what order i should paint them as I like all of em so just been stuck on the decision. I know its not like space marine chapters where the type of chapter you pick determines your play style so mainly some recommendations that would be welcomed (or do I say fk it and do custom colors)

List First game of 40K ever next Saturday. Is my list okay?

Upvotes

First game ever as title says. I started collecting and building everything since June.

Starting out in a 1k point game, I do have the paragons and Morvenn Vahl but have heard that in a low point game they can be a little much and I don’t want to be that guy off rip. Im just here to have fun and learn and I don’t expect to win, but does my list make sense and could pull a win?

My plan is to split the dominions w/ flamers and the palatine in the immolator and be aggressive, the rest of the dominions will stay home objective. Cannoness paired w/ sacresants will move mid and hold. Battleline SoB will help mid. Castigator sits back and shoots whatever. repentia in the rhino will wait until some units are chargeable. Seraphim will be in reserves and ready to deep strike when needed. And the penitent engine for pressure wherever.

Kill Team Pledging my loyalty to sisters.

So my journey begins. I played an intro round to kill team and the game was fun. Looking into the factions. I fell in love with the celestian insidiants.

I'm considering sub assembly for painting because I understand some areas can't be seen behind the shield. But I'm someone who needs to paint those barely visible parts if possible (unless it literally overlaps and totally can't be seen).

What's the best way to sub assemble them?

*I'm also torn between the sub factions. Creating another post for that.

Lore Any books detail the training process and rituals a trainee must pass to become a sister of battle?

Remember hearing about one that was climbing a mountain but they put a stop to it as too many sisters were falling to their death and it was depleting the squads.

Daily training, graduation ceremonies
