Hobby Kitbash idea

I was picturing doing a kitbash of St Katherine with IG mounted units and having all 6 sisters be on horses. Would I be able to fit the horses on the side of the base?

I love this idea, jealous I didn't think of it myself.

I have a triumph base to hand and some seraphim cavalry I'm working on so I tried to mock up some compositions.

These are Kings of War horses which a I'd assume ae very similar in scale.

It is definitely tight, but I wasn't building with those posing in mind...

I think if I were to do this myself I'd drop a saint and have 5 horses total, one in front of Katherine's 'bed' and the other 4 flanking it 2 a side.

Do you envision a charging infantry diorama or keeping the procession vibe of the triumph? If it is the latter it might be worth looking at Old World or other rank and file games to try and get horses which are moving at a slower pace.

Thanks a lot for your comments and pictures! I had never seen either the horses nor the triumph irl so i did not really know the scale of either. I will definitely look into the Old World range thanks! I like the procession vibe more than the charging one. I'll do some research on it. Thanks for the insight ! :)

Keen to see your progress if you do pull the trigger.

I'd have no idea how you would do this but would be cool to have the horses pulling the 'bed' along.

Fitting 6 horses on the Triumph base ? I don't think so, I would say impossible, but they will be incredibly cramed, riding elbows against elbows, horse head into horse ass etc
