Having trouble with followers since the update, anyone else having problems? Having to use paralysis just to move Lydia and gogh off ledges and having to backtrack alot

Everytime I enter de Creations this happens, I already searched for solutions everywhere, YouTube, wikis, Google, I until downloaded The Fallout 4 to fix this, can someone help me? My internet isn't bad ir something, I even deleted the save and the game but didn't worked 😭

Pretty much the title. I had to go to my job so I closed out of Anniversary DLC download. I tried to get back on after I got home and now it’s not working. Help!

Hello everyone! Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask. I got Skyrim (not the Anniversary Edition) for my original Nintendo Switch to enjoy the game whenever I go since I travel a lot. However, not even halfway through the game (on my only save file), it won't stop lagging and crashing. I always made sure to have less than three save slots and to turn everything off after a session. I even uninstalled and installed again, but nothing. I try to limit my gameplay (avoiding exploring too much, not touching things unnecessarily, trying to keep my inventory not too full) but that drains all the fun for me, making the game feel more like a chore. Am I doing something wrong? Or is it a common issue on this old console? Thank you in advance!

so just curious if anyone else *HERE* has had this issue, as i've been having this issue myself since the first August 2026 skyrim update, and the second one/patch after didn't change anything.

so basically, ever since the first August update \the big one where it increased the storage capacity for mod usage in creation club** I CAN'T play the game anymore

I've tried deleting and re-installing/re-downloading it, i've tried renewing the licence, I've tried deleting the save files, i've tried deleting the mods i had and re-downloading them, I've tried everything google suggests and it won't LET me play a game on sykrim on my PS5

I go click new game to play, and it just stays on the main menu with the music playing- game it isn't *completely* frozen, I can still quit it, go to the PS5 menu, etc- but skyrim doesn't do anything ELSE no matter how long i leave it alone after that point.

and the second so-called 'patch' update didn't change a thing.

any ideas? Cuz i just wanna play skyrim with mods again, and there's a whole host of new ones that i can now use thanks to the increased storage but again, skyrim just doesn't wanna let me play the game for some dumb reason

EDIT: it wasn't the map, I never said it was a map opening issue in my post. that being said the original issue resolved itself, somehow, dunno how- but now a NEW issue is happening.

it just keeps crashing randomly. I try to fast travel to riverwood- crashes. reopen the game and it lets me fast travel to riverwood, but now I try walking across a bridge and it crashes.

it's completely random and I just wanna play the dang game.

Has anyone else experienced these problems?

Ever since the August 20 update for Skyrim, Sentinel has not been working well ever since, some aspects of the mod like sentinel armors not being worn by specific factions but working for others (ex. Guard Armors work but Vigilants and Stormcloak armors aren't generating) and sentinel armor and weapons not being able to be crafted.

I just assumed this was because some of the mod requirements or the mod itself hasn't been updated yet to cater to the new game update, so I decided to downgrade my Skyrim version and redownloaded the old versions for Sentinel's requirements, but the problems are still there.

Can some help/explain this?

For some reason after the new update, the character creation menu doesn't show up when i arrive to Helgen. Does this bug happen to anyone else too? Btw my game has no mods or anything, im playing on vanilla special edition.

Edit: Im on PC, also nothing is working anymore i cant even move my character or pause the game without a controller 😭 (and yes i checked in the settings to disable the controller and it still doesn't work)

Something strange happened, I wanted to start my game via vortex but it wasn't there anymore, when I tried to manage it it just threw it out again.

I figured I just manually set the location but when I looked through my Skyrim folder there was nothing anymore.

I saw the game forcefully updating and thought stopping it might fix.

But to no avail, I want able to start the game via steam either it just starter the download again and then I noticed the download size is 5,9gb wich I figured was a bit big for a update and must be the game re downloading.

Amy explanation why that happened? Because I sure as hell didn't delete the game, I just played it a few hours ago.

I redownloaded Skyrim when i booted it, I got hit with “can’t save more data” and cant get past the Home Screen. so I clear 10-15 gigs of space and reboot the game. Same thing a quick search told me it was probably mods I cleared cashed save data like was suggested still getting the same message. Even tried uninstalling and reinstalling seeing if that would fix. Anyone have any ideas it’s beyond frustrating at this point

Randomly crashing in the Helgen sequence, due to havok physics according to crashlogger, my only mods are the crash log, address library and skse, does anyone else have this issue?

I have these mods installed but it crashes every time I try to go anywhere outside of Whiterun. Does anyone know what mods are causing the game to crash?

I checked Google and looked for anything online but I don't know what mods are clashing or possibly causing this.

I’ve got a great modlist, but I’m worried that an automatic update might break my game. Should I carry on downloading, or is there a way to reset it?

I posted before about a radiant quest vilkas gave me not showing up in my journal. The only solution I got was to load to the last save before it but thats impossible now. I've tried to find it or reset through console commands but he keeps saying he already gave me a job. This is what comes up with quest ID CR05. What does it mean? These "items" only show up for this ID none of the other ones.

FYI have the anniversary edition:

I initially was able to call Odahviing to Dragonsreach, I trapped him BUT the Jarl and guards weren’t there so it glitched and I wasn’t able to complete the quest.

I then went to find the Jarl and had to complete the first Companion quest. Once I did this, the Jarl left this building to come to Dragonsreach to help me trap the dragon and the dragon was gone.

Now it’s set up that I need to shout to call the dragon, but the quest arrow has moved to the left of Dragonsreach and I can’t call Odahviing.

What do I do?? I’ve already fast tracked to Winterhold, Solitude, Solstheim, and fast forwarded time and nothing is working.

It still needs me to call the dragon yet it already completed that step since I previously called it but had to go back and get the Jarl up to Dragonsreach so it put me back a step but didn’t uncheck that completed step.

I’m in the Touching the Sky quest which requires Serena as a companion. I get to the inner sanctum door ready to pour out the ewer and it’s bugged, I can’t pour it out.

I read online that if Serena is not present, that can sometimes be the reason the pouring function gets bugged.

So, then I figured it just needs time, I fast travel and do some other quests until I need another companion to do something and I can’t get anyone to follow me.

I finally found Serena, but the only way I can get her to follow me is by attacking her or by starting the command with the pulsing crosshair.

I need her to go into the glacial cave and she won’t follow me in and I can’t force her in. I’ve tried getting her to teleport through the shrines but she won’t do it.

the worst part: I have no previous saves to go back to prior to her being bugged. That is, except for going back to level 1…

help please? ):

I haven’t done this in a g time and I missed a dialogue. now it won’t let me accuse the mage. am I screwed without commands.
