DISCUSSION Might be a triggering opinion but I have to vent it out...

Lana is literally the most annoying character up until now(S6). Like clark saves her so many times, never lies to her except his superhero stuff and she still thinks he is jealous of her and lex as he is trying to warn her about the obvious aftermath of lex getting drawn into a space ship. More over, the weird face she makes when happy or sad is frustrating. Like I am being honest, she isn't even beautiful. Chloe and lois look so much more believable to be the kind of girls to make topshots like clark and lex fall in love with, lana looks like that annoying mid we all know who thinks she is a 10 and the world revolves around her.... (Sorry if it's too much, I couldn't stand her supporting shady lex over our virtue boy clarkie)

DISCUSSION Theory, Lex beat Clark in the future

After the season 11 comic, we know lex becomes president and we know from the crisis on infinite earth clip that Clark gives up his powers, that takes place in 2019.

From Smallville we see a flash forward to 2018 when Clark is fully superman. So he would have to give up his powers around this time. Also lois would of been pregnant or already have the kids by this point.

I think lex as president finally got his memories back, fought Clark and won, making a deal for Clark to give up his powers.

We know he eventually gets his powers back because in the show, we see a vision of when Clark dies and he's superman flying into a supernova.

Edit: There's also how long is Lex president for if he wins against superman? Is it 1 term or 2? And when does Clark get his powers back?

IMAGE Lex Luthor Explained

Was Lex Luthor destined to be a super villain? Was it genetics? Was it his rivalry/friendship/trust issues with Clark?

OR

Was it everyone constantly barging into his office, home, rec room unannounced at any time.

Been rewatching/watching with my wife (don’t know if I ever watch all the episodes back in the day) and can’t help but notice how rude people are to Lex about his own home/office/space. They just barge in, don’t knock, don’t call ahead, don’t text (they were starting to text back then), just arrive.

I know that would drive me crazy, maybe even crazy enough to turn super evil…

Just sayin’

DISCUSSION First time watcher: strange question

I'm a new smallville watcher. Currently zooming through season 2 at an alarming pace. God I can't get enough of this show! It's so relationally richhhh.

As the algorithms have picked up my interest in Smallville I've been increasingly shown edits and reels from the show, but I've also suddenly noticed a spike in "looks maxing" content lol.

Seems like Welling's Clark is one of the ideal types for looksmaxers (understandable), but I just am finding my reels suggestions hilarious. I'm a woman in my late twenties but my feed looks like a teenage boy now.

Anyone else noticed something like this, or is it just a me thing. 😛

DISCUSSION Smallville was one hell of a ride

I am finally done watching smallville after more than a year. I started it last year march 2025, and finished it august 2026. To be honest, the last 3 seasons are my favorites because the reason I watched it in the first place is because of clark and lois. I saw some posts in x that they're married so I gave it a try. No one told me I have to suffer 8 seasons of emotional roller coaster before I get into the parts I'm looking for.

Overall, it's a joyful ride. Nostalgic. Cringy at times, but it is good. Teen dramas can be sappy, eh? Lmao. I watched early seasons of these series when I was still in college but I don't know what happened why I did not finish it. But here I am now.

I just want to add, smallville lois lane is the best version out there for me. She's like a ball of sunshine. I love it. Love my girl.

LINK S5EP12: Interesting That Lois Gave Advice to Both Lana & Chloe After They Found Out About Clark

I recently made a post about Lois's helpful advice to Chloe after Chloe found out about Clark's powers because of Alicia.

I just finished watching Reckoning and I was surprised to see Lois giving advice to Lana this time. It's one of the reasons Lana was able to accept Clark's secret quite quickly.

And can I just add that Jonathan's death made me cry? I already knew it was going to happen. I just don't think Smallville would feel the same without him.
