Always liked the 3900 series and finally came across one at the gun show. Good addition to the collection.

Smith and Wesson really did just throw anything at the wall when it came to third gens, I had no idea they made a compact single stack Tactical. I'm not surprised in any way, but I sure didn't know about it. I'd love a 5906 tactical with the rail, unfortunately 99% of the ones I see locally are in .40...

Most of the TSW’s or most of the Third Generation’s? Most of the 3G’s I see are 9’s. The TSW’s are a lot scarcer, but are usually .40, occasionally .45.

Two 3G’s locally have been languishing in two used cases near me, a 908 and a 457. I assume because they lack the recognizable four digit model numbers. I have both, are excellent guns. Someone who is looking is missing out.

Yeah, what you said. I can't recall if I've ever seen a Tactical in 9mm. See 'em in .40 all the time
