Hey guys! I’m the developer and founder of a Social Media Management platform (won’t post name of it here so not to promote self/product) but one thing I have found is that many Social Media Managers & clients/brands alike have a difficult time finding each other.

Since launch, my DM’s are flooded with questions from both sides asking to being referred to one another/to connect one another.

Would it be beneficial to you if I were to build a platform out for this that specifically for Social Media Managers/Agencies looking for new clients & for clients / brands looking for a Social Media Manager?

If so, how would you like to see that displayed? Should it be like an easy browse clients (they post their requests and their brand details & what they need: content creation, content designing, post building, full management, etc) & browse SMM’s (they post their work, aesthetic, packages offered, services offered) and you can contact one another within the app to see if you’re a good fit for each other?

im looking for somthing that will be able to pull events off of google and other websites and automatically make facebook posts and post them. So for example I want this for hamilton ontario. What would be a good platform for the above?

I have 7 small but very focused YouTube channels and I can’t seem to find any serious platforms to list them under.

Got scammed by my client? 😭

I was hired as a LinkedIn specialist. Somehow the job slowly became LinkedIn + content + graphics + lead gen + CRM + cold outreach + WhatsApp + Udemy + course operations + customer enquiries. Basically 3–4 jobs wearing one salary.

I was also working in a transportation engineering niche I knew NOTHING about, which I disclosed from day one. So yes, I had to research technical topics before creating content. Shocking concept apparently. 💀

The funniest part is the documentation.

I was sending EOD updates through 4 different channels. Still, I was asked to make a consolidated report (attached in the post).

Then I was asked AGAIN to explain which deliverables were drafts, what wasn't completed, etc.

So I explained everything AGAIN.

And AGAIN.

Finally, I said: everything in the report was delivered except one Udemy setup issue, which was explicitly mentioned in the report as blocked by a technical issue.

Then came the argument over my hours.

On 27, I worked 4 hours 30 minutes, and he said he wouldn't pay me for those hours and demanded a breakdown.

Bro... the proof was literally in his own Drive. 😭

He was commenting on my Drive activity every ~10 minutes, while I was actively replying and trying to explain/remember work from 10 DAYS AGO.

Even after my working hours ended, I told him that, and he kept going.

At the same time, I was getting ultimatums, being called unproductive, uncreative, etc., over technical issues that weren't even in my control.

I finally called that behaviour out and said that if I'm working overtime because of this behaviour and being threatened over issues outside my control, I expect to be paid for that time.

I've done overtime for him MANY times without charging it. There's a difference between voluntarily working extra and working extra because your boss is creating a crisis and threatening your job.

And then...

My Zoho access was removed. 💀

Which conveniently means all those EODs I sent through Zoho are now inaccessible to me too.

Today I emailed asking for my pending payment by September 3rd, and resent it to Gmail.

No payment. No reply.

I have screenshots, Drive history, timesheets, EODs, emails, messages and reports.

At this point I genuinely want to know:

Do I publicly post the receipts on LinkedIn and tag the company, or take the L and move on?

Because I'm not going to spend my life explaining the same 4.5 hours for the 6th time. 😭

Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook page. All need attention, TikTok most of all.

25 hrs a week sounds like plenty until I actually think about video editing time. Might be underestimating that badly.

For anyone running multiple platforms with one person, what does the weekly split look like? Did you end up dropping a platform or cutting posting frequency to make it work.

I’m looking for platform that does more than post or comment - something that would also allow me to update the client’s profile, add/remove followers, join Facebook groups, post stories on instagram… is my best bet to log in to the account directly to have full access, or can I get full access through a scheduler?

I just created account and posted 2 videos. They gained around 100 views, is it okay? How to get more? Or I need to wait for one lucky moment?
