Of all the flavors they could have brought to high volume distribution, why would they choose this one?

Seems like it's not even that popular and other flavors like voltage are way better.

I loved it as a kid but I have not seen it in decades. Is it still around but just not in my area. TIA

The had some sort of a rebrand recently. Before that, it had a bite to it, I loved it. I noticed today after picking up a bottle from a vending machine that it said “Kickin’ cherry soda” not “Spicy cherry soda” and sure enough it felt closer to Dr Pepper than before. Maybe I’m just imagining it but a coworker also agreed.

For a long time I've been searching for unopened cans of the original Monster Energy drinks from roughly 2009–2018, especially:

Assault/Ripper/Khaos - pictures uploaded

I'm mainly interested in full, unopened cans. I don't mind if they're expired, since I'm collecting them and looking for the original versions that have been discontinued for many years.
Maybe someone has a few old cans forgotten in a garage, basement, storage room, collection, old shop stock, or knows somebody who used to work with Coca-Cola/Monster distribution. Any lead, information, photo, or contact would be greatly appreciated.
I've been searching for these for quite a while now, so I thought it was worth asking here as well.

I had this Special Edition Pepsi "Extra Spritzig" today. I can dig it! Classic flavor, made with real sugar, extra bubbles (which is usually my main complaint about Pepsi) and the throwback 90"s can design. It's a winner, and I hope they keep this one around for a while.

Just picked this up, never seen them?? Wasn’t the greatest but it was definitely decent.

Got this delivered from Walmart this afternoon. Absolutely recommend! You can taste the pineapple, the mango, and even the strawberry. Go get yours!

I also used half of this bottle in part of a marinade for some pork belly along with some garlic, soy sauce and brown sugar. Flavors came through! I'm buying 6 more bottle tomorrow!
