As a Techmarine those sentry guns awaken my paternal instincts. I am Kratos and they are all my Atreus.

you are Dorn and they are all your Sigismunds

Each Sentry Gun has over 2000 hours logged on Space Marine 2. Each one wants a difficulty higher than Absolute.

I mean... It is a turret you're repairing so it can kill them on your behalf.

The invulnerability perk is almost mandatory. Good techs will also boost damage of teammates in the turrets vicinity too so knowing that you should be right there next to it blasting away

After playing techmarine quite a lot, the two armor segments on majoris and above execution is way more benefical during a whole run imo.

Turret placements are scarce and often not in a good position to fight from, also, it doesnt really help the melee classes.

Meanwhile double armor on execution helps to keep up all your teammates in tight situations.

Atleast in my experience.

Wdym, don't you love having turret placed at the very end of an arena? Ballistic engine opening bit before gate loves to do that.

Imo, turrets need a rework, we should be able to place one that recharges, i’d take it over a secondary weapon or equipment (though a lot of his perks revolve around that).

I just find the spawn location of turrets on most runs to be a little retarded

Fair but it's pretty great when you go "oh my god they put two turrets right next to each other in this random stairwell what am I going to do with the......" and in the distance you hear a roar of a Carnifex and you know you are about to destroy that Xenos whole career.

My first time I got 3 turrets in a row, all 3 visible as soon as you get out of the darkness by the weapon drop pod in Obelisk, was also the first time I met a Chaos Terminator Sorcerer.

The second time I met one, I had none. It was quite the stark difference.

Yeah, but that only happens to me when I’m playing on ruthless not absolute lol

They remind me of the minigun in Left 4 Dead at the hold out section at the end of each map when you are waiting for evac. The horde ALWAYS spawns just outside the arc of fire on those things... or directly behind you. Lmao

I see this suggested on here often, but hear me out:

1) if turrets could be placed anywhere on a recharge, that would make them nearly identical to his shoulder gun ability, which would be fine, but it’s less interesting imo;

2) more importantly, if turrets could be placed anywhere, they would likely need to be made less powerful, for balance reasons. As it is now, turrets are incredibly strong and their randomized placement is what balances them. Like, if you could drop them in a boss fight, that might trivialize it, so they would nerf the turrets or restrict their placement (which I think the play base would really hate).

They could just disable them in Boss rooms, since they don’t spawn in there anyways. I just find that most of the time the Turrets are in a place that’s either useless during the fight, or in a spot that would be helpful, but I have to fight my way through to get to it and by that point most of the enemies are dead

With the invulnerable while activating turret perk, you just rush up to it and activate it. The perk is the first one you should take.

You’re right and I’ll do that but if I’m getting dunked on by a basketball team of tyrannies with bone swords. Then I’m doing a tactical about face and sit near my turret. Saved my ass as a last marine standing several times.

Armor replete team perk is way more beneficial. Armor is crucial at higher difficulties

The battlefield repairs perk is immensely more useful.

Mandatory in operations, useless in siege. I have died too many times because I forgot to put it back on after switching from siege to operations

I’ve clutched up so many last man standings by hugging my turrets and keeping them up and running. Was able to beat this weeks absolute termination on the last part by myself for like 2 minutes because I had my babies covering my back

Probably the second best prestige perk to exist, and should have arguably been inherent
