Tip/Guide FINALLY
It only took 400 EMPEROR DAMNED HOURS to realise I hadn't marked a CARNIFEX. EVER. The single GREATEST TIP I have ever seen on this sub is that if you are ALSO a completionist and love getting achievments, and you ALSO have only one or two enemies missing off of the "mark every enemy type" achievment, CHECK YOUR DATA CENTRE. If you have researched an enemy type with the blue/purple ordeal credits in the data centre, it will tell you on the left side of the lore paragraph if you've ever marked it. If you haven't, the icon is greyed out. I genuinely could've done this 50-100 hours ago if I'd known that. But yeah, I love this game, I love my Primarch, I love shiny badges, HYDRA DOMINATUS!

I know, I've been complaining to myself for weeks "why don't we have some kind of tracker for the pings this is bullshit" and I just found this random post from a while ago talking about it and even though it's got like 2k upvotes, it isn't pinned and I haven't seen anyone else mention it.

Exact same shit happened to me. I was probably driving my teammates mad pinging every single creature in sight. I assumed I had missed a meatball but I finally randomly pinged the Tyrant and achievement completed. It was….frustrating.

I don't think meatballs count because they were introduced after the achievement requirements were set

Out of the 4 game modes you have to play 10 rounds of, I think 2 of them are fun. The Helbrute game mode is probably the most entertaining, the games can go on for a while so you always get at least some action and both being and killing Helbrute is entertaining. Sieze Ground is fun, it's just classic A, B and C capture mode with points for time captured you see in so many games. Annihilation is the completely basic, vanilla ice cream, cheese pizza game mode of "kill people until one team has killed a lot of people". Can be fun, but can get pretty boring pretty fast. And Capture and Control is just Helbrute Onslaught but shorter and without a Helbrute, so more boring than that, and more boring than Sieze Ground since everyone just rushes one point in a cluster instead of splitting up and allowing for more fair fights. Almost all of my 400+ hours is in the PvE, its much better don't get me wrong, but I do think the PvP is overhated, especially now they just unlocked ever weapon and equipment for every class without the need for a grind.

Dont know about pc but you can get the achivements if you load up a custom match by yourself and choose the gamemode you want set the time and score to the lowest and just capture zones and wait till you win and repeat. 10 matches of Annihilation i think you have to do legit. 5 kill streak can also technically be done through custom but it requires a rare materjal called "friends" so if you can find someone you can do it if not do it legit (use heavy if doing legit)

But the one with 30 thousand war hammers that still loves the Emperor, not the one with 40 thousand war hammers that doesn't love the Emperor. Easy mistake to make, I hate that guy.

I started the mission that you find out that sorcerer guy was trying to get titus marked as a heretic and got my last dataslate only to realize I had to ping HIM and redo the whole mission

Ah yes, I struggled with that one too. I replayed the entire campaign only to see that the one I was missing was that fucking Imurah illusion on delirium. Who thought that that should be a separate entity from the regular Imurah!?

This is so funny, because i was also trying to complete the marked challenge the the other day, and convinced myself that I was probably missing the vortex beast (or whatever it's called) and then I just randomly decided to mark a carnifex when it spawned (which i never do normally) and I got the achievement!
