What is UP with the local/ Spain's job market??

Hola expats de Barcelona!

Has anyone been searching for a job in Spain this year in the tech industry, or similar fields?
Has anyone else noticed that the market is BRUTAL??? Most job applications get 500-1000 applicants. If you don't know someone in the company, you don't even get a chance to getting your CV looked at by a person. I have been searching for 8 months and it has been impossible. I landed a few interviews, but nothing compared to the amount of applications I sent out. I have over 10 years of experience in my field. Most the time I don't get an answer back, or I get those automated, rejections e-mails on a random Sunday at 19 o'clock.

I moved to Barcelona 3 years ago (I have papers, but mostly foreign experience).

What is going on?? Has it always been this bad?? Is anyone else having a similar experience?
Can someone please shed some light on the matter? Is there a magical way I don't know about?

Please help :(

Premium concierge service for moving to Spain?

For those who have used relocaiton agents, gestores and abogados to assist with moving to Spain, how was your experience? Did their pricing make sense?

Been thinking that for the Amex Platinum and Revolut Metal crowds, what if an all-in subscription covered everything you need to make moving to Spain easy peezy? From apartment hunting to cita previas to insurance to your full visa processing to non-resident Santander accounts to SIM cards... all the best, fully curated options/services from people like us who have already been there and done that, along with a legal team partner.

Thoughts?

Obviously this isn't for the DIY crowd, unless you're willing to swap the personal concierge for an AI telegram bot at 1/10th the price.

How do you see a dermatologist in Valencia using social security (public healthcare)?

Hi, I'm still waiting for a TIE card but already registered for social security and Padron. (I have the social security number) No physical medical card yet. I notice there's a general university hospital in Valencia, I wonder how do you use your social security for the whole process—visit and medication?

I heard about getting a "medical card" at local public medical centers. Is this card the same as a "SIP" card? Or are they different?

Also, do public hospitals usually open for online appointment booking or do you have to go in person and wait there?

Would you recommend me getting private health insurance? What companies would you recommend?

ATM fees

Does anyone know a bank that does not charge a withdrawal fee for an Irish Revolut card? Sabadell used to be 0 fee but now charge as does Caixa.

Lawyer recommendations

Hello!

I am an auxiliary in Spain, currently in the process of renewing for my second year. My application status has been rejected, so I'm looking to consult with a lawyer so I can see what can be done to possibly fix it.

Does anyone have recommendations for a lawyer that is willing to consult virtually? A preference for someone who can speak english or is willing to go back-and-forth on google translate lol. For context, I was placed in Andalusia last year and I am now moving to Galicia (so anyone based there would be helpful as well).

I would also appreciate if anyone can recommend to me a normal price-point for a consultation, etc. I just want to know what I'm dealing with.
