To me, SURRENDER holds the final instant of battle before chaos becomes silent. On the left, a winged Queen releases the last of her power through two rockets. On the right, a crowned King falls as his sword leaves his grasp. They are guardians of a parallel universe, caught at the moment power and weaponry begin to separate from the bodies that carried them. At the center, an orange heart remains exposed. There is no victor, only the threshold where resistance gives way and the battle begins dissolving into silence.
