Need help identifying a spoon
I found this spoon metal detecting and the makers mark is badly worn. It is about 6 inches long and about 1 inch wide, weighs 32 grams. I haven't tested the metal yet but I suspect its either brass or gold plated sliver. There are some light scratches in it and they also look gold in color. There is only one identifying mark shown in the images. I hope someone can help me figure this out.

Is it pitted at all, texture

Also your profile seems VERY new, so def search around for subs like Antiques or WhatIsIt or similar.
Make sure to ask if there are better subs to post on. Between the requisite humorous comments, some Redditors will point you in a better direction for answers

Where did you find this (country, locale) ?
What is/was there in that location ?
What else did you find there ?
Too pristine to be from the soil ? Any pics before ? How did you clean it ?

Found in San Francisco, California in sand so it really could be from anywhere in the world and possibly any timeline. It was found in a more wealthy part of the city so something of antiquity is very plausible. Only lightly cleaned with a little dish soap and water and microfiber cloth. The lack of tarnish leads me to believe it is gold plated or if im really lucky solid gold. I will be testing it when I return hom next week. I included a video of the marking while changing light angles.

Ok so far with out testing the metal, I have come up a possible lead. Could this be Regal Dirigold? I can't find a matching stamp but I feel like I see three round circles and a letter or two after it. In the dirigold early stuff they just used 3 clovers as a stamp. It doesn't match but it certainly could be the material from the late 1920s to 1930s. Hope someone can help, thanks!

Tasting spoons are often gold plated. Avoids any metallic taste interference. Ice cream quality testing specifically.

Decent point, I also read about olive spoons and how the gold plating will keep them protected from the acidity. Although most seem to have holes to drain the juices.

I can’t help with identifying this, but I will say that is the most beautiful spoon in all the land. If they come in silver lmk
