All three of our Porsches got wrecked yesterday in the GTWCA race at Road America. Team spent four or five hours getting pieces off and making them into rollers so that we could at least get them to Indianapolis and they could work on them before two days of testing.

We let behind three full garbage cans and some other parts when we finally rolled out at 10 PM last night.

Really got pissed off at how many people, more adults than kids, kept trying to reach across our barriers to pull parts and pieces out of our piles and kept asking crew members that were working their asses off if they could have stuff that we were clearly piling up to inventory. Spent three hours playing security guard before I finally had to take a nap before we rolled out.

If you go to an event and see that a team has three wrecked cars, don't be a douche bag and start grabbing stuff or bother the crews. If it's not sitting next to or inside a garbage can, or it's clearly behind barricades like our stuff was, don't fucking touch it!

Crazy R2 had Audis at the front but this porsche still got to within 0.089s at the flag.

Comtoyou Racing managed to convert pole to win at the Nürburgring, as an eventful race gave the team its second 2026 win, whilst Maro Engel, Lucas Auer and Luca Stolz were crowned Endurance Cup champions in the penultimate event, courtesy of a fourth place finish.​

Spent my 42nd birthday doing what I love most—working with GT3 cars up at Road America after wrapping up year 41 with some local dirt racing over at Plymouth Dirt Track!

I just wanted to take a minute to thank everyone in this community for making this year so much fun. Getting to share behind-the-scenes moments, answer your technical questions, and meet so many of you in person at the track has been an absolute blast.

I Know practice doesn't guarantee what's going to happen at quali & race cuz so much like track, weather changes between but it gives the idea about the team for the weekend.

My takes from both sessions:

Quali seems very close battle.

• Ferrari down noticeably vs. last year, none of them are at front
• Porsche still off the pace (mid-teens to low-20s), consistent with FP1
• Ford Mustang clearly improved (they did aero/brake/wheel changes)
• Audi teams I can see why teams needs more support from Factory, they are also behind.
• McLaren/BMW/Mercedes roughly matching last year's form.
• The biggest improvement WRT's BMW #32, It improved to 18th (up from struggling in FP1) but still off outright pace, and now carries a 3-place grid

For Race BMW and Mercedes look like the two manufacturers to beat heading into the race.
