Reminder for deadlines - Springfield State Primary - Tuesday, September 1 2026

Deadline reminders:

Saturday, August 22: Last day to register to vote before Primary

Tuesday, August 25: Vote by mail application deadline for Primary

Saturday, August 22 – Friday, August 28: Primary Early Voting

Tuesday, September 1: Primary Elections

The City of Springfield has still not posted early voting info, I'm going to call them Monday. But early voting dates should be the 22nd through the 28th.

Also, I honestly can't be bothered to look it up this weekend, but does anyone know if Fenton can simultaneously serve on city council and on the governor's council?

I believe he technically can, but not sure if he intends to.
