What’s the best trigger for hellcat pro comp?

Post image

Threw a holosun on my hellcat pro comp. Wanting to upgrade the trigger, what are some good brands? It feels like I have a cod load out now since I got my new Ruger harrier lol

I went apex, debated it and the mcarbo for numerous days but decided a tiny bit lighter and a bit smoother would suffice for me. I also ran it stock for over a 1000 rounds and didn’t mind the way it broke in. The apex out the box felt like the stock broken in but after another 1000 rounds it’s a joy to carry and shoot. Light enough to not pull my shots but heavy enough to have to be deliberate.

Edit
also move your optic back on the AR you don’t want it on the rail at all it needs to be on the receiver, you’ll thank me later!

Is it worth the $60 for the Springfield HELLCAT Flat Trigger MOD-2 Upgrade? Is there a noticeable improvement? OR, should I spend 3x that $ for the Springfield Hellcat Pro Accessories Bundle? Will the bundle improve the trigger 3x better than just the Mod-2 Upgrade? I tend to think not, but I haven't done the upgrade yet.

Thanks.

As someone who owns the MCARBO gear as well, the trigger alone is definatly worth it. It instantly turned the action of the trigger into feeling like I was clicking a button back and forth. Love it.

The springs are kinda whatever, but they're cheap. The reduced power also helps my fingy not get tired so quick at the range after 50 shots or so.

The Ti striker is another nigh-and-day difference. I completely changed the break from rolling to a wall, and lightened the action on mine from about 7> 4lbs with the springs

Having also owned the Apex, I cannot say the same things about it. I haven't tried the Tyrant. But MCARBO is worth buying the striker, then trigger shoe imo. So the Bundle is definitely worth it

In-depth install video by the owner of the company right there on the page. Very helpful even goes into showing you what parts to polish to smooth everything out and take a little more off. This company is put in time and the R&D and have one hell of a product

I have HCP. The Ti striker, reduced power springs, and trigger shoe all from MCARBO made my HCP trigger feel closer to how my Echelon feels.

The Apex type 3 trigger was pretty meh. I don't really get why people like it for this gun, the pre-travel reduction is minimal and it honestly feels about as good as the OEM trigger.

Telling it you like the way the Sig P365 Macro X-Comp shoots always seems to trigger my Springfields.....

Ok I kid
