Hey everyone, I am a 21F, and I have an in-person interview tomorrow for a Bakery Clerk position. If I get hired, this would be my first job.

Because I am currently a college junior taking online courses, I need to stick to a highly specific part-time schedule. My ideal availability is Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and possibly some weekends from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM. Is this a bad time? I am also recovering from some health issues. Sticking to a hard 4-hour limit is crucial for me right now so I don't burn out physically.

If they push back on those exact hours, what are some similar short-shift windows that the bakery department typically needs for midday coverage or lunch transitions? I want to have a solid backup plan ready. Also, are there any specific questions they would ask me?

Any advice on how to pitch this to the hiring manager tomorrow without oversharing my health history?

I just got hired at Sprouts a year since quitting Target and looking for a similar role. In that year I tried other industries such as warehouse, front desk, and fast food, but i was very understimulated in these roles because I liked the challenge aspect of working at Target. I have ADHD and love being physically active at work, and I like jobs that let me wear jeans as well. I'm most excited to have that challenge aspect again at Sprouts, but i am a little nervous for balancing it with school. When i worked at Target i did their online school program so I had open availability. After quitting, I switched to an in-person program to improve my mental health and my resume. Sprouts is aware of my schedule, but I just hope they dont try to schedule me during class. I got hired for the dairy department.

I have a second scheduled interview at Sprouts Farmers Market, and I’m 16 years old and homeschooled with a flexible schedule and can work anytime. I’m wondering if I’m likely to get the job. It’s for a new location, and it’s a hiring event this Wednesday. I already completed the first interview over the phone.

If anyone can tell me how their experience went and what kinds of questions they were asked, I’d really appreciate it so I can be prepared! Kinda worried.

hi all!! i used to be an avid sprouts shopper, but have been relocating and havent always had consistent access. recently i went on their website to see if the new store that opened near me carried one of my favorite sprouts items - pre seasoned al pastor taco meat. (at my old store it was sold by weight in the refrigerated deli section next to the other cuts of meat.)

unfortunately, i wasnt able to find ANY location in my state that currently stocks it! does anyone know if the product has been discontinued, or if its just not available in my area?? thanks in advance! 🌮

Like a lot of people, I'm concerned about where to safely buy and consume beef right now. Does anyone know where Sprouts sources their beef from? I just bought the grass-fed organic beef while it was on sale but now I'm worried about safety. TIA!

Have people call out in your department? Can't work extra because working more than 40 is frowned upon. Yet missing production is also frowned upon. Store management won't lift a finger to help, yet wants us to do their fucking job for them as well because they're a bunch of useless outside hire cunts that don't even know that Food Handlers are actually important and required. Not to mention they won't even let the people cross-trained into my department leave the front-end so what is the fucking point??

No matter what you do, you're gonna fail and get into some sort of trouble so what in the actual fuck does this goddamn company expect us to do in this situation?? Almost seems like just working that OT just to make sure my department doesn't fall to shit whenever I have a call out or have somebody that wants to go on vacation but then they're gonna get pissed with me for needing that OT to make up for lost time. I can't even take time off myself because I know no one is gonna help out and then I'm gonna get yelled out by my store and my stupid ass interim district director (whose being replaced by yet some other outside hire, so much aof Mr. Hamilton's 90% internal promotion goal) for not producing results, yet they provide no incentive for a job well done to begin with.

Fuck this company, I can't wait to find another job.

For context, I’ve been with the company for 2 1/2 years. I’ve pretty much done it all at this point.

Head Cashier first.

Then Cross trained into Scan and Bulk.

Promoted to Sales Ambassador.

Then took on SWA Schematics.

When that was up, i did not want to go back to sales ambassador as it was switching to part time.

So i took a step down and went to bulk clerk - but kept my seniority and pay.

I’ve been owning the dept for a good while now, and my dept manager just got promoted to service manager at a different store.

I just signed paperwork for SWA Bulk Manager.

I officially start Monday, but I’ve been doing everything a manager does for awhile now.

Now that I am being held accountable for the dept, anything I should know/expect?

I still feel kinda safeguarded by one of my ASMs.

Like, do I get to write the schedule or not??

And why do they want me to receive every Wednesday? Like?

I’m excited for this journey and most of all the opportunity to show our District Director I am ready for the position officially and not just SWA.

Tonight we'll be the night I get to be the key holder for the first time got called in cause the other called out, I guess my store manager forgot to fill out the paperwork that was in the orchard I had fun times too. Only able to work till 530am otherwise it'll be OT.

As a person who sops at sprouts but also safeway and whole foods i feel that sprouts could do better.

None of the sprouts stores sell large cakes or fruit tarts.

None of the sprouts stores sell pizza by the slice

None of the sprouts stores sell in store made fresh squeezed orange juice

None of the sprouts stores sell cut up fruit cut fresh in store.

Sprouts should look into adding these items in my opinion

What are the chances of being told anything, if I walk into a sprouts before closing and brought 2 bags of ungrounded coffee to grind there?
I know it’s supposed to be for the coffee that’s bought there but my grinder has been broken and sprouts is the closest “public” grinder next to me. Will the employees stop me or just mind their business lol, I shop there anyway and i just wanna use the beans I bought months ago

So I just started as a grocery clerk looking into being a store .manager or district manager. They are saying that I'm looking good to be the asm of grocery and to move up dosent seem too difficult. Please give me some insight as to how the job "truly" is compared to what my co workers say.

Hello I want to go on here and ask if there are any questions I would probably asked besides the usual interview questions and if I should bring in a physical resume. The position I'm applying for is backup scan coordinator, and I've been looking at videos / Reddit posts on what I'm going to be doing there IF I'm hired. I've been a cashier the past 2–3 years consistently and wondering if it's going to be any different from what I've always done as a cashier. I'm really good with computers (not like comp sci or coding but know how to get around with one) but wondering what kind of programs they will use. Needing / willing to take any advice anyone gives me and also anything about the pay as if I should low ball or not lol. Any expectations, any labor or anything anyone can give me for the position I'm applying for and also what to expect in the interview.

I'm 2 months new. Do they ever shut up about PCR? I'm in the deli and it's so draining. Production, PCR, minimal labor isn't an equation thats working.

Was c wondering if the harvest reset schematics in bulk is up yes I looked Saturday only saw grocery hba bakery produce and deli looked in relax as as said in the playbook nothing got posted expect floor those departments.

I'm a Department Manager who was the only one in their store to: Hit Shrink, Hit Sales Goal and Comp Growth goal in Q2.

But because the store as a whole sucked ass, I only got $100 for my Q2 Manager bonus (not the PCR one). Like what is even the incentive of hitting our metrics if we're just gonna get punished for the failure of the store. Like for fucks sake, it's already hard enough to comp positive, let alone hit my goal when my store is -10% and with -20% less customers than the year before.

It's like you barely miss a STP goal by $1 one week and you're put on a fucking action plan and have to follow up with the District Directof via email about how you are going to "fix your purchasing" but absolute crickets for hitting sales, shrink and comp for an entire quarter. What incentive is there to perform as a Department Manager??
