Update post

hi all. i quit gaming completely on June 28th 2025

and in the past few months ive seen games like FC NBA and GTA6 prices for over £100 some at £140. i used to pre order all these games and not even think about it but now after over a year away from this hobby it makes me absolutely sick that i used to spend all that money on games that you dont even own. i didnt quit to save money but man do you realise how much you save by not consuming this stuff. happy weekend :)

Fair enough, I had 320 hours in it.... A lot of that from COVID lol

That’s very subjective. I’ve tried to get into gta 5 in the past multiple times and never could finish more than 20% of the story. Boooring.

GTA 6 will be visually stunning, no doubt, but the story underneath all that will almost certainly be bland and boring.

It takes reflection which many simply don't have the time or energy to do when in any addiction because the focus of one's day is the addiction.

You quit, get it and moved on.
