Bank statements

Hi all,

quick question, I’ve tried looking for this online but have not found a definitive answer. I’m a Canadian that will be starting uni in Ireland this September. I’m a non visa required individual so I can enter without a visa. After arriving I need to attend an IRP registration appointment, and to my understanding I must present 6 months of bank statements. My question is, do these bank statements need to be stamped? Or can I just walk into a bank branch and get them to print it off as is?

Why would you need to prepare 6 months of bank statements ? I’ve read you just need to prove the 10k in the bank

You do need to show 10k, but it has to be through 6 months of bank statements.

Gotchya. We’re able to provide the 6 months. Just don’t know if it matters if the deposit to cover that amount comes from a family member or not. It’s abit confusing

It needs to be official and stamped for it to be valid
