Handwriting to text question

Hi - I'm considering buying a Supernote Nomad for my writing, but I was just wondering - when you convert to text, does it add in line breaks/carriage returns for every line you've written on the page (iyswim). I can see this being irritating, so if this does happen, are there any workarounds?

When you export as text, you can include the line breaks or not. I usually include them and spend the few seconds it takes to clean it up in a text editor.

OK great - thanks. Stupid question - but which text editor do you usually use, and do you have to do it one line at a time?

I use Visual Studio Code, I just select the text and change the wrapping, but that might be a plug-in.

I very, very rarely export notes from my Supernote though, so I've never felt the need to optimize for editing them.

You can choose Original which includes the linebreaks or Reformat which does its best to attempt to follow your formatting.

Just keep in mind that it is not perfect. There will be misreads and formatting errors no matter how clear you try to be.

When you convert notes to text and export them to TXT/DOCX, you have the option to export it according to the Original layout, which keeps the linebreaks, or the Reformat layout, which attempts to eliminate the linebreaks.
