Training Day Cafe has been a big help for me. I'm 6 months postpartum and its been challenging trying to cook consistently let alone healthy meals and we've defaulted heavily to uber eats. Started training day meals about a month ago and have found most meals I've tried to be quite good, it's reasonably priced and they offer so many different pick up locations across Surrey.

You might want to look for threads on tiffin service too - East Indian equivalent of meal prep. There's a lot of them, they tend to be affordable because the primary market is price sensitive, and Punjabi food tastes pretty good and isn't bad for you if you avoid banquet dishes. A typical meal will have rice and/or flatbread, one to three curries (often vegetarian with most offering meat options as well), and some yogurt or 'salad' (chopped vegetables - often onion and cucumber).

Fresh prep. They have kits with all the ingredients and you cook them. Some are very simple 15 minute ones. Or if you’re really short on time they have ones you just pop in the oven or microwave. I can’t tell you how much it’s a relief to not be wondering what we’re going to make for dinner during the week. It’s been such an improvement in our life. It’s not that cheap but some people I know switch back and forth with other kits like good food to churn rewards.

Your kitchen? 😁

If you mean meal prep kits, I plan meals for a couple weeks at a time and prep things that way. So basically buy enough quantities and types of ingredients I'll need for those meals. Once I have everything, I'll make "kits" that I label with ingredients and a date and plonk them in the freezer. On the day of, just get the kit out, do what you gotta do and Bob's your uncle. We usually take leftovers for lunches.

Trust me, I know my kitchen would be a lot better than any of these places. But I am running the next couple of months basically working two full time jobs so working 80hours a week and it just doesn’t leave me the time :(
